The Set Back

After that night they kiss, Blake and Monique were inseparable. Blake's mother was also very supportive and just loved seeing them happy even wanted them to get married. Monique was just 16 at that time and Blake 17. They were so happy until Mon's stepfather arrived. "Oh no he's here Blay," Mon utter. Blake replied, "you can live here with us Mon, you're free now, I am here." But Mon hurriedly went home to meet her Deleon. 

Their meetings became gradual and they just sneak peak at night on far outsight of Deleon. Blake always wanted for Mon to leave Deleon but Mon can't because of his help before. Mon would said that without his help we would be sleeping by the roadside. Blake won't argue and so decided not to brought up the topic but Mon promised that if she graduate in college, she would leave Deleon. Blake said she doesn't need Deleon support because they can find it out together.

They were together for seven years then. Blake opens up about them getting married but Monique just changed the topic and that Mon already graduate yet she does not leave Deleon still. Yet Blake didn't want to argue so he don't brought up the topic. Mon was handling the business of Deleon while Blake is in the Tamaraw Construction Firm as an architect, owned by his best friend Jeno. They were actually partners. For Blake used to be a part time at Jeno's bar since high school. Many times Mon offered Blake a job at Deleon's businesses but he won't any.

One day, Mon tell Blake that Deleon plan of migrating to Canada to attain their businesses. Blake said, "you can stay here Mon you're not anymore Deleon's little girl." That made Mon become fierce and said, "I'm not his little girl Blay!," "yeah okay I'm sorry, i just wanted to be with you for forever," Blake utter. "You knew Blay that as long as Deleon is still alive we cannot achieved that, he is still here Blay." Blake decided to walk away, that made Mon even fiercer, "don't walk away from me like that Blay just like you did to your father." For when Blake's father was dying, he wanted to see him and his mother. Blake rushed into the hospital thought that it was her mother hospitalized but to his surprised it was his dying father. At that time, his father asked for forgiveness but Blake just don't listen and walked away. Hearing that from Mon that made him furious and really walked away. 

Blake was at the bar in trying to release all the feelings of anger towards Monique. Mon kept calling him but he wont answer and so she texted him that if he wont come to the restaurant they usually eat, he wont see her anymore. Blake didn't notice everything, he just caught up in the moment and just wanted to enjoy. Hours passed and it was already 10 at night still no Blake shows. Monique cried and just text Blake, "I'm so sorry for the pain I caused you, but it's all I wanted to tell you, were leaving tonight." Deleon already knew about us and he would take away everything from me Blay if I wont go with him to Canada. Goodbye and I love you as always."

Blake was awaken by the alarm at 6 in the morning. He rushed to the bathroom to take a bath for he can't be late, the meeting with a client is at 7 sharp. On his way to the cafeteria, where he would meet the client, that's the only time he look at his phone to check up on Mon. To his surprise, he's reading it and got mental blocked, that he rushed his car to the INJA airport in thought that he could still catch up on Mon. Unfortunately, when he arrived, Mon just departed. 

He kept calling Mon for a million times still to no avail and so he realized she was really gone. Night after night, he would go to the bar just to forget everything. Until he becomes aggressive and would always find a fight inside. He is now the rough and tough Blake that anyone would not dare to come near. He also becomes a playboy. Everynight hanging and had sex with different girls.
