Ceres looked at the portraits around them. There were even pictures of Eli and his family. 

"The recent pictures here were taken not long ago and Charlotte was given the responsibility to update the information here," Eli told Belle when he noticed that she had been reading the information below the portraits. "In fact, we have a big book about our family which had been taken care of from generation to generation." 

"Really?" 

"Uh-huh. Let me go and get it. You can look around first." 

Ceres just nodded her head in silence and watched Eli leave. Once she was left alone, she immediately looked for the man of her dreams. Sure enough, there was an old portrait there of Gen. Francisco Joaquin. 

(God! Eli was really this man's split image.) Belle commented when she saw the picture. (No wonder Fortunata would always mistake her grandchild to be her great-grandpa.)
