21 HER SECRET IDENTITIES

Ceres knew that lunch could be this fun. In her last life, lunch was mostly taken directly from a can. Sometimes, she'd have bread and jam or sometimes, she'd be eating food directly from the wilds. She had fancy meals due to her mission but it was never something she felt happy about.

There were times that she had meals with Xhylan and Marcus but they never had any cheerful topic to talk about. Their daily life was composed of killing, deception and all the sins in the world. What was fun in doing that?

As for those children she supported to survive, she never joined them for lunch. She only asked someone to send them groceries every week and buy them clothes twice a month. She had someone to take care of them. She felt that, she didn't have the right to be with them because she was tainted - a devil. She didn't want to dirty them.

After lunch, to help their food digestion, Eli gave Ceres a tour of his house so that she'll have an idea of how it looked and where to find certain areas she might want to visit.

Eli's house had a small gym where Eli workouts and there was a sauna next to it. Seeing the gym, Ceres immediately looked at Eli's body.

(What are you thinking?!) Belle exclaimed when she found out what Ceres thought.

[Why are you getting angry? I'm just thinking how sexy he must be underneath those labcoat and shirts.]

(You're crazy!)

[God! I remember my dear general and he had that god-chiseled body like Adonis. I want to lick those abs and - ]

(You're a pervert! Don't you dare do something to Eli using my body!)

Ceres snickered and Eli turned to look at her instantly. He was wondering what was so funny during the tour, but when he looked at her, she only had a faint smile on her face. [I must be imagining it.] Eli told himself.

"If you ever want to work out, you can do it here. I'll set up an access for you later."

"Okay." But she planned to exercise here if Eli's around. If he's not, she would go somewhere else where she could unleash her full power.

After going to the gym, they went to the backyard where a small garden can be found as well as a bird cage. Eli has four rosy-faced lovebirds.

"I didn't expect you to be keeping a pet." Ceres commented as she stuck her finger inside the cage and touched one of them. "How long have you been keeping them?"

"Three years. Andrei gave it to me when a friend of mine got married."

"Oh." She didn't know which friend got married and she didn't want to know either. "They're cute."

"Thanks. Let's go over there."

Ceres was now sitting inside her bedroom after that long tour. She had fun watching Eli but fun times would always come to an end. Right now, she needed to know the result of the investigation.

She opened the laptop again and logged in to Belle's e-mail account. Sure enough, the time stamp showed that the man sent the result within two hours like he said he would.

Jamie and Carina Malvar has no recent activities. Jamie resigned from the flower shop where she worked as a florist and Carina stopped coming to the music school where she taught the students how to play the piano. No one knew where the siblings went. No recorded flight or train tickets. Bank accounts were left untouched and no one reported anything related to them.

Here are the last activities that the siblings did;

Ceres read every single thing and she realized that their last activity stopped on April 12, 20xx at 11:57 PM, and it was during their internet surfing. From then on, nothing happened. They just disappeared into thin air like bubbles popping in the wind.

[April 12. Isn't this the day that you went for a medical mission?]

(Yeah. I went for a medical mission and the accident happened on April 13. Basically, they disappeared when you came.)

[Is this some kind of preparation for me?]

(What do you mean?)

[This is too much of a coincidence. Jamie Malvar; I used her as my other identity and I took a job as a florist using her name. Then, Carina Malvar, my pianist identity. All information I used in the past life were the same with these women.]

(I don't know what to say. It feels like I'm just dreaming.)

Since the two women have the same identities as her in her last life, Ceres downloaded the app version of her bank and logged in.

Both her and Belle showed a shocking expression when they saw the amount of money in Jamie's account. What Ceres had in mind were all the same with what she had in her bank, down to the figure of cents.

"I don't know if they're mine or not." Ceres mumbled to herself as she scrolled down the information to see if there was even a single difference - NONE!

She logged out from this account and opened the other one which was owned by Carina. Just like the first account, Carina's information was the same as hers. Not a single difference can be seen.

"I believe this is my money. I don't know what exactly happened or who sent my soul here but this account, this money; they're mine."

(Is it really safe to use them?)

"You don't need to use it if you don't want to. Whenever we need the money, I'll take over and use it. That would make you feel less guilty, right?"

(I don't know Ceres. So many things have happened and I don't know which of them we should start thinking.)

"Leave it to me. First, let us deal what your godmother did. If you continue to leave this matter as is, Neon will be traumatized forever."

(Even if she did something horrible, she still raised us by herself. I don't think killing her is needed.)

"Who said I'm killing her?"

Outside her room, Eli's hand paused midair because of what he heard. He was supposed to give her some fruits but the words that came out of Belle's mouth stunned him.

[Who is she talking to? Why did she mention about killing someone?]
