"Belle?" Neon called out while pressing his index finger on the biometric sensor for the password. "Belle?" He called for her again and his sister finally appeared from the kitchen, she was wearing an apron with a spatula in her hand. "What happened to you? Why were you injured again?" Neon's voice cracked and tears started pooling in his eyes. 

She didn't expect he'd be this disheartened upon seeing this light injury in her wrist. "Sorry, Neon. I was a little careless and I got -" 

"It was my fault," Eli said when he entered with Andrei. Supposedly, Neon and Belle would be having dinner together with Eli's family once again, however, she wanted to avoid them fussing over her injury and blame Eli for it. She didn't know why she got that idea, but she had a gut feeling that it would certainly happen if she went there.
