59 Returning to the Present

Staring a the ceiling of the cave, I caught my breath. Taking in a deep breath, then letting it out slowly, in a repeating manner.  'History is intense.' I thought to myself, before sitting up to face Master Oden, who let out a deep sigh.

"I see Victoria beat me to the emblem." He chuckled lightly, then meet my eyes, which looked glossy, like on the verge of crying again.

Standing up from the cushion, I leaned against the wall while trying to shake my legs awake. The prickly numbness made me cringe, it was a rude awakening from sitting too long. Luckily I had something to hold onto or I would've fallen down.

"How long were we out?" I asked while looking at the waterfall in the distance, listening to the roaring sound. The cave looked dark, since the one light blew out, the only source of light came from the main room.
