9 09 - First Disciple?

Souls God actually managed to kill the Elementary Core monster.

Souls God looked at the mission screen and cracked a smile as he panted with exhaustion. He fought the Boss for 3 hours without rest. That was Souls God's biggest fight against a Boss in a VR game, especially in a game like Elder Worlds, where the player gets the feeling of actually using a real body, where he gets tired like real life, Souls God was exhausted .

But there was something about that message that caught his attention. Instead of the mission saying he had 100/100 points, did that say he had 128/100 points, ie was it possible to get more points than the mission requested and get extra rewards for it?

If this is really true it can be very valuable information. Initially Souls God thought about returning to the Sect and asking the Sect Master to accept him as a disciple, but after seeing that he could get more points beyond the original 100 Souls God had a different idea.

He intended to keep killing monsters and accumulate as many points as possible.

But as Souls God panted on the ground, two humanoid figures entered the cave at very high speed and killed him.

Was the speed so high that Souls God couldn't even identify what the creatures were, just seeing afterimages and assuming they were also human?

If the creatures were slower Souls God could see that the figures did look like humans, but in their mouths there were two teeth bigger than human teeth, teeth that were used to suck blood.

Probably because of the reek of blood from this cave they were drawn here and found Souls God exhausted on the ground, but he had no one to complain about this injustice.

The players were startled by this voice and saw Arthur standing next to them. Knowing that the NPC was here to deliver the Souls God reward, the players soon got out of the player's way and left a clear path between him and Arthur.

When Souls God saw Arthur, he got a little excited. He didn't know if he could keep killing monsters to get more points and was afraid of refusing to become a disciple now and not having a chance to become one in the future.

At that point the other players were shocked, they had already heard of a legendary player who didn't take damage from any monster in the game, but they thought this was just a legend, who would have thought that this player would appear in front of them like that?!

Souls God looked at these players with a little embarrassment and a little pride, hearing someone else say his merits in front of him while making him happy also made him a little shy.
