Auxiliary Chapters, including pictures!
Hello guys! As always, I hope you've been or will be enjoying this translation series of mine! The raw is called "People are keeping diaries in Marvel, the Avengers are confused." It's a chinese MTL fanfic, so it's got the same issue with all the other MTLs, good idea - HORRIBLE EXECUTION.
A few things to consider:
1) Romance. As I've said in the author review, I am a staunch Wandaship. This is absolutely non-negotioable. The romance portrayed in the MTL is very one-dimensional, and so I will be attempting to build up the romance from the very beginning. At the pace that I am releasing the chapters and the contents of it, I am of the opinion that romance will be a slow burn, though not TOO slow.
2) Harem? No Harem? Unsure. Honestly I am an enjoyer on both ends of the spectrum. I could enjoy fanfics such as "Danmachi: reborn with Emiya's powers." by Feniurme - where there is a harem, and done BEAUTIFULLY might I add(by the way, love that fanfic so much. 100% recommended. Long chapters up to Chapter 80 I think, and then the author disappeared to the real world xD). But I could also enjoy fanfics like "I'm Spider-man (MCU)" by Alien Warlord - where there is only a single romantic interest. We shall see how my series goes, and if there is or isn't Harem, we'll find out in the future :D So far, I only PLAN to have one romantic interest in Wanda, though if it feels right, I could try to add one or two more. What's for certain is that I WILL NOT be making a pokemon harem xD
3) MTL vs Other translators vs Mine? I am delighted to announce that I was sick and tired of going around asking 'translators' - who basically copy pastes MTL chapters and pass it off as their own translation, if they wanted my assistance to edit their chapters before they released it for the public, since most of their chapters are similar to the shitshow of the MTL chapters. I always get ZERO response from them, so here I am, just deciding to release my own :D I can safely say that I have cleaned up almost all the MTL-ness from my chapters, though there could be a few instances where I miss them. The MTL is on a hiatus at Chapter 238. I will, hopefully, attempt to clean up the chapters up till that point, after which depending on reader polls, I will either start a new MTL translation work OR carry on with the MTL and take the story further into the direction that I want.
4) Chapter update schedule - I currently plan on updating 1 chapter a day. For future references, release time of said chapters will be set at 1900hrs GMT+8. This will start from the 6th of May 2024. I had already released a chapter earlier in the day, but will release another when the time comes again. Bonus chapterssssssss! I know most of you are hoping to have bonus chapters, and to this I say: For every 100 power stones gained for the week starting 6th May, I will release an additional chapter a day for the following week depending on how many stones gained. That means, if the book receives 320 stones for week, I will release an additional chapter on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the following week. The rest of the days on that week will only have 1 chapter updates. However, if the book miraculously receives lets say 932 stones, then the following week, I will release THREE chapters on Monday and Tuesday, with the rest of the days having 2 chapter updates. So your reading content depends on the cookies I receive (power stones)! [Updated from 70 to 100 stones on the 9th of May as I realized that writing chapters are getting harder due to me resuming my part-time work and also having to review and re-write the MTL chapters from scratch basically. I hope you guys can forgive me!]
5) Patreon. I am not going to lie, the thought of setting up a patreon is very tempting. I am still a uni student about to enter my 2nd year. Having additional passive inflow of cash would go a long way to support myself. As such, unfortunately for the free to play readers, I will be setting up a Patreon.
