Taming him

Later, the night they both returned to their apartments as they both were worn out from work. Liam's eyes were unable to reach out the ray of the dim white light on the ceiling as the grudging of clouds didn't stop for the night. On the other hand, Rose's feets were swollen and were red with the pressure of the heels she was wearing the whole morning.

The moment she stood up from her bed and laid her feet on the cold floor she jumped as the electricity sensation made her body feel like ice. She wore comfortable slippers to walk around the room. Her hair was pulled up and made it look like a bun.

The next day, Liam woke up late and to take care of his business Michel and Derick took off the remaining appointments as he was informed that the chiefs are running late because of some issues he slacked off his brushing and showering and sat for breakfast.

The moment was frustrating when the small video kept on playing inside his head of how Rose asked him about dropping her to the apartment because she was visiting some of her friends. Might be a girl? Why does it even bother me? I already cleared myself that I will set boundaries needed in our relationship.

The gentle knock on the door made him snap out of the thinking when a gorgeous heart touching angel came by with a pink gown but became groomed when Liam saw the comfy slippers on Rose's feet.

"What's wrong, you wore your shoes half awake?" Liam asked after grabbing her by arms.

Rose bit her lips and said "it's swollen. And all I could do is drag my feet to here"

"Why?" Liam asked with a very serious expression almost ignoring the fact that she was his girlfriend. A gentle girlfriend though.

"You can't just…..boss me around" Rose said with a blank look on her face.

"Well, I can't treat you like a patient and scold you. Come sit on the chair and have some banana milk." Liam said with a sigh.

"Don't you have something important to do today?" Rose asked while eyeing his appearance.

Liam nodded to her and said "hmm….you know I was thinking about Michel's marriage because after he becomes the lawyer with the new position I have to talk about the marriage thing" he made snide remarks to change the topic on the table.

"That's your headache," Rose said with a mocking face.

"Don't get cocky about yourself and take care of yourself. I have got some work to do in the office so I will be on my way." Liam hissed and left the breakfast table.

Rose was upset about her feets as she made a generous plan to hang out with her friends. And now that she was in a critical condition she ate all the breakfast making herself forced to vomit it out.

Liam came back and saw Rose was covering her mouth with her eyes closed.

"Are you dumb? Why did you eat all the breakfast?" Liam growled as he patted her head while sniffing around her neck.

"I couldn't bear that you were ignoring me for your work." Rose said as her eyes were watery.

"Now now.... I wasn't ignoring you, I was giving you your time. I want you to feel at ease" Liam took her hand and rubbed gently as he made eye contact until she laughed at him.

Rose was taken to the lobby to dip her feet on a bucket of warm water as the maid applied a little ice on it. Rose was quite relaxed after she slept on the comfortable bed of Liam's.

Liam's lips were dry with the talkings and signing scripts for the company as he moved himself from the chair and opened a bottle of cold coffee. His eyes were closed while having a moment with the cold coffee as a gentle knock made him choke on it.

"Who is it?"

Michel was standing with a bag in his hand and a red envelope when he spoke "it's me. Here have this it's sent by Rose"

Receiving the red envelope and bag Liam's eyes were full of joy and love when he smiled as a two year old kid receiving his first gift. But unfortunately it was an invitation to have dinner and a silver lining tie of gramo collections.

After having a sip of the wine she busted herself into the bathroom as her face was pale and blue. She sat in the bathroom for quite a long time when she had a nice and gentle voice coming in.

"Rose? Are you inside?" Liam already wore the silver tie and sprayed himself with his expensive cologne on the way to the hotel.

Rose snapped her head up and covered her mouth to not to make a sound as her hair was all sticky and her heart was almost out of her chest.

When the knock was turned into banging she took a sharp breath and clenched her fist to answer with courage "be right out."

Liam grinned as he left the area. Rose took a step out as she carefully eyed the corners and went to turn on the tap and sprinkled some water on her face. Teh lip colour was gone and the glaze on her skin was faded.

Rose came out and was surprised to see Liam standing with a delirious look as she cried to him "I am sorry. I don't feel well plus I tamed you to come her by giving you small gifts."

Liam hugged her and kissed her forehead by saying "you look nice after eating shall we get on a date?"

Rose was easy to convince but hard to make her laugh. Her nose was red and so was her eyes. Liam was concerned that she might get another week of rest but soon was alerted that he was pushing it too far.

"How about sleeping in a tent sleeping?"

"What?" She gasped as she met the strange gaze of Liam's and poked his cheeks.
