A small, wicked smirk escaped his lips while perceiving her frantic reaction. His dark hazel eyes were gleaming with skeptical connivance fixed at Clara who seemed on the verge of losing her mind from all the crazy stuff happening right before her.
"I knew you would be still obstinate after all these years and that's the reason...I had to numb half of your body so that you won't run away from here." While he still had a small smirk on his face, but his dark voice sounded extremely ambiguous.
All of a sudden, hearing his strange resonance, a chill of horror ran down her spine. She clutched her fists tighter, gulped down her saliva, and narrowed his fiery gaze at him before grumbling in a low pitch, "th-that means...yo-you have paralyzed me?"
Shoving both his arms inside his suit pocket, he slackly walked towards her a few steps chuckling again, "why don't you try yourself to break free?"
