Showing gratitude
Against all odds, standing at the corner and witnessing every thing that unfolded, Cyrus overcame the subtle chills that ran through his spine as he watched Klaus and Finn faced off, he moved himself from his position unwillingly and got in the middle of the two. But as he did, he wedged himself in such a way that he backed Finn and faced Klaus.
Although he might not have the strength that Klaus possessed, he certainly had one thing on his side and that was his sheer size which unprepared, Klaus could not fight against. Cyrus was physically able to use his size to separate the two parties and for that brief moment when he looked at Klaus's face, he saw a glint of red.
