Chapter 10

"Young master, is there something you need?" Sebastian asked while I was doing my homework. I politely shook my head and placed the pencil on top of my lip.

"What do you do at night?" I asked Sebastian while correcting the sentence on th paper.

"Well, demons don't sleep. I just stay in my room or do things around the house. Nothing special. I sure am one hell of a butler." Sebastian said. I dropped my pencil and grabbed onto my mouth.

"Master are you fine?" Sebastian asked in a worried tone. He walked up to me and held my shoulders. I couldn't hold it in and let out a heartful laugh. Sebastian looked confused and I wiped the tears that kept forming.

"Y-You're so cute. You... You sure are one hell of a butler." I managed to say between laughs. Sebastian looked confused and said, "I'm sure I am." More tears rolled down and I couldn't stop laughing. I turned back to him and dug in for a hug.

This seemed to startle him but he didn't complain, but hugged me back. I kept laughing and drying my tears. "You're too cute." I said again. I earned a small chuckle from Sebastian as I pulled away.

I wiped my tears and said, "I'm going to bed now." He nodded and I got off my chair and stretched my limbs up in the air. "I'll go wash up." I said with a yawn. He nodded and walked me down.

I walked into the bathroom and started washing myself up. After a while I walked out and saw Sebastian pushing Grelle away from him. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Hey, Grelle." I greeted with a wave and smile. "C'mon, my love." Grelle said trying to deepen the hug between himself and Sebastian. I let out a smal chuckle and said, "I'll be in my room." And walked off.

I walked into my room and jumped into bed.

After a while I heard a knock on my door followed by, "Master? Are you asleep?" I sat up and said, "Not yet. You can come in." And so he did, the doors slowly opened, small bits of light from the hall shining through and Sebastian walked in.

"Sebastian? Can you stay here tonight?" I quietly asked. He nodded and sat down on my chair. "Indeed, young master." I laid back down and stared down on the covers. "Do you ever sleep?" I quietly asked. He shook his head and simply said, "No." I nodded and said, "Good night, Sebastian."

A yawn escaped my lips and I heard Sebastian say, "Good night, my lord."

I didn't question and drifted into deep sleep.

"S-Sebastian. Please d-don't do it! Sebastian this is an order!" I yelled, while running through the woods. I heard Sebastian's footsteps get louder and louder.

"Stop this instant! This is an order Sebastian! Turn down, now!" I yelled. My legs were starting to get tired and I slowed down.

Sebastian got closer and grabbed onto my shoulder and leaned down to my ear and whispered, "Your time has come, young master." The hand started shaking me and I woke up in cold sweat.

"Young master, you were having a nightmare. Please calm down." I looked up at Sebastian and back down. His hands were firm on my shoulder. I laid back down and closed my eyes again. "It'll be alright, young master. I won't let anyone hurt you."

I opened my eyes again and saw him in front of me. "Did you really think you could run away from me, young master?" I froze in fear as the oxygen from my lungs started disappearing. I squeezed my eyes and shouted, "Help! S-Someone! S-Sebastian!"

I felt someone shake me and when I opened my eyes, I saw Sebastian in front of me. I pushed him off and jumped out of bed and ran towards my craft kit. I quickly took the blade and as I was about to slash my forearm I felt a hand grab onto mine.

I turned around and swung the blade at Sebastian's face. When I realized what happened, I dropped the blade and fell onto my knees. I slapped myself to conform that it was only a nightmare, but I felt the sting from the slap.

I stared at the slightly bloody blade on the floor and then, at my hands. I felt my whole body shake. I was at a loss of words. I covered my mouth. I felt like my insides were going to spill out.

"Master, please calm down." I heard Sebastian say, as he crouched down. He reached a hand for me but I unconsciously slapped it away and jumped back. I stared at his face, trying to make out what was happening. "S-Stay away from me." I managed to say, as I kept crawling further away from him.

I saw his shadow get up and slowly walk over to me, with a hand reached out. "Master, please calm down. It was just a dream." I ignored his words and kept hand over my mouth, while moving away.

I stopped when my back hit my wardrobe. I felt like hurling but I kept it in. Sebastian walked over to me and crouched down. I hid my face away and he grabbed my hand, that was over my mouth and started gently stroking it. "Shhh. It was just a dream, young master." Sebastian reassured.

He gently grabbed my chin and lifted my face up to meet his. His eyes, glowed crimson red, lighting up dark area.

"Young master, we should get some fresh air." I gulped and hid my face again, as tears started rolling down. Sebastian wrapped his arms around me and gently lifted me up.

I grabbed onto his suit as tears kept falling out. Sebastian carried me outside and took me to the backyard patio. He gently placed me down on one of the chairs and poured some water from the table into a cup and handed it to me.

I took the cup and drank all of the liquid in one go. "Young master, you shouldn't hurry like that." He said. I placed the cup on the table, wiping the water that dripped down the sides of my mouth, away.

I looked at Sebastian and the moonlight, clearly showed his every feature. I saw the cut that I gave and started reaching my hand towards it but stopped midway.

"I'm... I'm sorry." I said, tears threatening to fall out again. "It's nothing, young master. You shouldn't concern yourself with such things." He calmly said.
