Returning to the Duke's Mansion from Lisha

Chapter 23

Although she is used to reading novels about the magical beast that can transform into human form. But experiencing it in real life is actually very shocking that she can't really describe how she could feel right now.

"You're really dumb kid" said the White fox with disgust in his eyes.

Reina felt like punching the man in front of her. "This stupid fox is really getting in my nerves" she said to herself with irritation.

"Why did you change into your human form?" asked Reina curiously.

"Because you get the inheritance of Firenia your strength improve a lot and because I become your contracted beast it's a chain reaction. My strength also improves a lot that can make me change into human form" explained the White fox.

Reina was shocked of what she heard "Hmmmmmm….. So you mean to say that you are now leeching on me" she asked with contempt to the White fox.

"Hey kid, what the heck are you talking about?" asked the White fox defensively.

"I'm just stating a fact, by the way let's go back to my people" Reina said seriously.

"Ok" replied the White fox and transformed again into his beast form. "Ride on my back" he said while lowering his head to let Reina climbed on his back.

"Let's go" Reina said when she sits comfortably at the back of White fox.

The White fox run outside of the ruined temple and jumped in the air. The White fox fur becomes softer and shinier. Reina hugged the White fox head and as the two of them traveled she falls asleep on the way. She almost falls down on the back of the White fox but he used his spiritual energy to support the woman on his back.

Sir Alabaster see the White fox approaching, he waited until he comes near then he saw Reina sleeping soundly at the back of the beast.

"What happened to her?" asked Sir Alabaster angrily.

"She is just sleeping so don't shout at me. She is just exhausted with our training" the White fox replied calmly.

"Give her to me" said Sir Alabaster. He opened his arms to receive Reina.

"What right do you have to ask for her?" asked the White fox.

"Don't get me wrong I am his personal knight and it is my duty to take good care of the miss" Sir Alabaster seriously.

"Oh! Really, human if you can fool others not me. Do you want me to tell you about how you really feel with this dumbed kid" said the White fox sarcastically.

"Shut up, just give her to me stinky fox" replied Sir Alabaster.

"No one is allowed to touch her more than me" replied the White fox with irritation.

"My lady, what happened to her?" asked Ericka the moment she came and see her mistress. She didn't hear the conversation between the two.

"Don't worry she is just sleeping" replied the White fox seriously.

"Can you give her to Sir Alabaster? She needs to rest in a comfortable position" said Ericka seriously.

"No one is allowed to take her from me" replied the White fox arrogantly.

Ericka was stunned with what she heard from the fox.

"Mr. Beast my lady will not be comfortable letting her sleep like that. I'm afraid my miss will get body ache after she wakes up in that position" Ericka replied to the stubborn White fox.

"I can take good care of her" replied the White fox. Then in a split of seconds a dazzling blue light covered the entire body of the White fox.

The people near them including Sir Alabaster and Ericka covered their eyes. Then after the lights fade they are stunned when they see a handsome young man whose looks is otherworldly carrying Reina in his arms.

"Who are you? What did you do to my miss?" asked Ericka angrily.

"I didn't harm her she is just sleeping" the man replied.

"Can you put her inside the carriage?" Sir Alabaster said formally.

"That's exactly what I am going to do" the man get inside the carriage where Reina was riding guided by Sir Alabaster and put her in it.

"Everyone let's wait for the miss to wake up before we decide what we need to do" Sir Alabaster announced at the people who accompanied them.

All the spiritual stones that they get from the cave are securely placed inside the other carriage that they brought.

After sometime Reina woke up inside the carriage. She look at outside the window and see her maid, the knights and the miner together with Farron in human form sitting in front of their tent. She stretched her body first before she gets out of the carriage.

Her maid Ericka is the first one who see her. She run to Reina the moment she see her gets down on the carriage.

"My lady how is your sleep?" asked Ericka while smiling.

"It's good" Reina replied while scratching her head apologetically. "I am too exhausted with the training that's why I fell asleep at the back of the White fox" she added.

"It's ok my lady as long as you are fine" Ericka replied with tears in her eyes while holding Reina's hands.

"Miss, are you sure you are fine?" asked Sir Alabaster.

"Yes, don't worry. By the way where is Farron? I just saw him a while ago before I get down on the carriage" asked Reina when she cannot see the White fox.

"He said he wants to rest on one of the carriage we brought" Sir Alabaster replied.

"My lady, where are we going back?" asked Ericka curiously.

"We are going back now so prepare everything. We will return in the mansion. Tell them to secure the spiritual stones that we obtain and not let anybody knows about what we did during this past few days" replied Reina.

"Ok miss" Sir Alabaster replied.

They prepared themselves to return to the Duke's mansion.

"Kid, are we going to your home?" Farron asked.

"Yes, I'm done with my purpose in here", Reina replied. "Sir Alabaster said that you take a rest on one of the carriage so I didn't disturb you. But why are you here?" asked Reina.

"I want to stay here with you. I didn't come to you awhile ago so that you can sleep peacefully. Now you are awake I don't have any reason to stay far away with you" Farron replied.

"Ok come with me" Reina get inside her carriage with Farron. He sits beside Ericka.

"My lady, why did he insist on being with you inside your carriage" Ericka whispered to Reina while looking suspiciously to the White fox.

Reina scratch her head and just smile to her maid.

"Don't worry Ericka he will not do something bad to me. He is already my contracted beast" Reina said apologetically.

Ericka was stunned with what she heard. "Contracted beast…..that man is your contracted beast" Ericka reacted with full of surprise.

"Sssshhhh….. not too loud" Reina whispered to Ericka.

"But my lady, what you are doing is too dangerous" Ericka Replied worriedly.

"I know but I'm still fine so no need to worry on things that didn't happen" Reina replied to her maid kindly because she knows Ericka wants the best for her.

Ericka sighs in disbelief to her young lady's innocence.

On the whole journey no one speaks inside Reina's carriage which made her fall asleep again.

Farron see the woman's uncomfortable position so he appeared to Reina side and put her in a comfortable position.

In the Duke's mansion inside the Seventh Prince room, he is sitting in the sofa wearing a seductive robe. His bare chest and half of his legs are exposed.

"How is my future wife doing now?" Prince Hellery asked.

"Your highness, they are on their way home now. But while she was in Lisha, she found the White fox graveyard and mines the spiritual stones inside of it. She also tamed the White fox guarding the spiritual stones and train herself in the ruined temple for three days while the White fox is accompanying her. But I can't get inside the ruined temple so I just waited for them outside" replied the shadow guard.

"She tamed the ancient beast! What a surprise from the Duke's daughter who is rumored to be an arrogant and good for nothing" Prince Hellery replied with amusement.

"Hmmmm..... very interesting! My woman is not simple indeed" the Seventh Prince mumbled to himself.

"How did she tamed the ancient beast?" asked the Seventh Prince to his shadow guard curiously.

"Your highness she talked to it" replied the shadow guard.

Prince Hellery choked on his tea when he heard what the shadow guard said and look at it disbelief.

"I heard that the White fox as an ancient beast is the most unreasonable being in the ancient times. How will you expect me to believe that?" asked the Seventh Prince suspiciously.
