Ace, Maeve, and Gracie left the Gracious Flower Sect after Maya was done with her questions and playing with Gracie.
As they returned to their courtyard, Gracie ran towards her room and started cultivating while Ace and Maeve were left alone.
"You seriously don't feel anything when that girl tries to get close to me? I mean, if you want, I can really distance ourselves, you know? I will never talk to her if you just say a word" Ace spoke as he was still confused by how Maeve could control herself.
Maeve chuckled before answering, "And destroy the only source of entertainment for me? No way will I ever do that!"
"What do you mean?" Ace questioned in confusion.
Maeve's smirked widened before she closed the distance between their faces, placed her hands around his neck seductively, and sealed Ace's lips softly and lovingly.
"You are mine… You are just mine… mine and mine alone, and I recall that whenever she tries to get close to you.
She could try all she wants but nothing will change and I like that feeling. I love it when I realize that a girl is trying to get close to you for more than 8 years without any progress.
It feels good to know that I have something that every other girl craves but none can have no matter how hard they try.
I even help her by telling her about your likes and dislikes and by not restricting you to talk to her.
I do that because I don't want her to have anyone to blame on, so that she can't just think that she would have succeeded if I wasn't there.

Ace answered the kiss as their tongues mingle and they exchanged saliva. The 2 separated after a long kiss as a silver line of saliva connected their mouths.
"You are soo Evil~" Ace whispered.
"I am" Maeve whispered back before kissing him again.
"I am Evil, but at least I am better than you, at least that little girl is still alive, you won't even think before killing a man who tries to get close to me"
This time, Ace smirked and picked Maeve in his arms. "Of course, I'll even torture the man to make him regret his choice before killing him for good" He admitted proudly.
"You are soo Evil~" Maeve repeated Ace's words with a smirk.
"But I like that about you too" Maeve completed as their lips met yet again.

In the Gracious Flower Sect, in Maya's courtyard, Maya was sitting on the same sofa where Ace just sat as she smelled every nook and corner of it with a pleasurable smile on her face. She had a look of a disgusting pervert lusting on others.
Once she was done with sniffing, she stood up and walked towards her closet, and opened it.
The closet was filled with Ace's pictures, each picture was a different one, clicked from a different angle, not only that, there were 100s of recording crystals, similar to the ones the disciples of Inferno Sword Sect sold.
Maya then picked a picture in which Ace was smiling lovingly, the person he was smiling at was cut out from the picture. Maya softly rubbed her finger on Ace's face, her movements were so delicate that it felt that she was holding a treasure rather than a picture.
There was a big smile on her face and her eyes reeked madness.
"Today I was able to get 2cm closer to you … it won't be long before you'll be mine… Ehehe~" Maya mumbled before placing the picture back in her cupboard and locking it with 10 different locks as her face turned back to normal.

At night, in the Vicious Snake Poison, a servant was walking in a corridor before he stood in front of a room and knocked.

Since no one answered, the man knocked again.

Again, no one answered and the man furrowed his brows and knocked again.

Again, no one answered so the man called out.
"Young Master"

"Young Master" The man raised his voice a little.

"Young Master, Master would be mad if you skip your dinner, please answer"
"…" Again, no one replied.
"Young Master, I am coming in," The man said before he opened the door walked inside.
He looked around and since everything was so silent, he assumed that his Young Master is cultivating and forgot about time. He shook his head and walked towards his room and knocked.

Hearing no reply, the man decided to barge in, and just as he opened the door, his eyes widened in fright and his face paled.
"Y-Y-YOUNG MASTER!" The man shouted in horror. Soon, he came back to his senses and ran away, and even though he stumbled a few times, he didn't stop running and ran as if his life depended on it.
"MASTER! MASTER!" The man cried as he quickly dashed towards his master's room.
*Bam*
"MASTER!" He burst open the doors of his Master's room and cried.
"Who dares!?" The master, who was an old-looking man with average features roared in displeasure as he quickly wore his Sect Robes and stood up from the bed.
There was an unknown girl lying on the bed and she tried to cover her body with the bedsheets but the man completely ignored it as if it was a normal occurrence and cried, "Master! Young master… Young master…"
"What happened to him, and make it worth my time or you will lose your life!"
"Master… he… he is dead!" The man revealed as he recalled the terrifying scene in front of his eyes and a shiver ran down his spine.
"WHAT!?"
"I am not lying! Young Master is dead! He was murdered!"
"He was murdered!? Where? Show it to me!" The master ordered.
"M-Master…" The man stumbled, he most definitely didn't want to see that horrifying sight again but he also couldn't defy his master's order.
"What? I said, show it to me! Take me there!" The master ordered in an irritated tone.
"A-At once, master" The man then nodded and turned around.
"You can leave, and don't talk about anything you witnessed today to anyone" The master turned to the girl and ordered.
"As you command, Elder Payn" The girl nodded and started wearing her clothes quickly before leaving the room.
Elder Payn then followed his servant to his Nephew's room but before they could enter the bedroom where the body was, the servant stopped.
Elder Payn furrowed his brows and just as he was about to call him out, he noticed that his legs were trembling while his face was pale.
'Hmph! What a coward!' He harrumphed inwardly before ordering.
"You can leave, I'll take care of the rest"
The servant nodded and quickly left the place as if scared that the elder will take back what he said.
Elder Payn shook his head as he entered the door and just as he did, his eyes widened as the gruesome site appeared in front of him.
His Nephew Joey's body was lying with the support of 5 unimaginably strong earth spikes that impaled his four limbs and forehead. His face was completely pale as if it was drained of blood and there were marks of dried tears on his cheeks while his eyes were red, maybe due to all that crying.
From his expressions, it was clear that he was extremely terrified by something or someone before he died.
Elder Payn sighed deeply before he closed Joey's eyes.
"Don't worry, I will avenge you no matter who you were up against, you can rest in peace" He muttered and left the room.
Elder Payn then walked towards another disciple's room and knocked on the doors.

The door opened and a young man appeared, "Elder Payn? Is there anything I can help you with?" Blake spoke as he gestured at Elder Payn to come in respectfully.
Elder Payn nodded and entered the room and sat on the sofa.
"Do you want anything to drink?" Blake questioned respectfully and Elder Payn shook his head, "No, just sit here"
Though confused, Blake nodded and sat on the other sofa in front of Elder Payn.
"Did Joey had a fight with anyone recently?" Elder Payn questioned directly and Blake's eyes opened wide in shock before he looked down, trying to avoid Elder Payn's gaze.
"Answer me, this is urgent!" Elder Payn ordered and seeing his serious look, Blake nodded with hesitation, "We… we might have gotten into a fight with him today morning…"
Before Elder Payn could speak, Blake continued, "But it was resolved later! So we aren't fighting anymore, you can confirm this from Joey"
Elder Payn nodded before questioning, "Besides you, is there anyone he had a fight with? Or maybe he offended someone?"
Blake was just about to shake his head in disapproval before he recalled what happened this morning and his eyes opened wide.
