My Daughter Is a Heavens Defying Prodigy!

Treading on the path of revenge, Ace Vorste becomes the strongest in the superior world named Herferd. After killing his sworn enemies, he became the Emperor of the newly established Vorste Empire, and adding to the good news; he was informed that his wife, Maeve Vorste, is pregnant. Over-joyed by the sudden news, Ace spent his entire time taking care of his wife. Yeah no, it wasn't a flag, there were no accidents; a cute daughter was born. The arrival of the new guest marked a time of Happiness and Joy. “Will she also have to walk on a path filled with blood and gore...?” While Ace was playing with his daughter, Maeve, his wife questioned in worry. Ace's body froze, he remembered his past and then looked at her cute daughter who was giggling while holding his finger. “No!” Ace swore and stood up with a determined gaze. He then decided to leave his wealth, his Empire, and even his World; and moved to a relatively weaker world. But it turns out that Ashleyn, the new world they are in, is mysterious in its own way... This is the Journey of an Emperor, his love, and his cute daughter as they shift to a weaker world and enjoy their life. ---- Some things I think I should clarify before you read: Though English is not my primary language, I don't think you will face any major issues reading the book. The main focus of the story will be MC, Ace Vorste, and not his daughter. Yes, MC will power up even more in further chapters and he will learn about new things in the new world. MC is NOT the hero type, but he isn't an anti-hero either, he only cares about his wife and daughter. He is cruel, and won't help move until his family is in harms way. This story is not a Harem, MC loves his wife too much to even think about other women, and PLEASE, there will be NO INCEST! So please don't think about him doing something weird to his daughter. I won't deny, there will be other women who will fell for MC but he won't reciprocate their feelings. In the end, I would only say that give this story a try, I am sure it will be worth your time!

The beautiful, Angel-like, Innocent-looking Maeve, Is Actually Scary…

Score: 1-0

*Whoosh*

Antony's eyes opened wide as the ball just passed through him.

"…"

Complete silence befell on the area, no one spoke a word.

Everyone was shocked to their core, well, everyone, except for a little girl.

"Papa! That was soooo good! sooo fast! It was like Whoosh!! Hahaha! Papa, You are the best!" Little Gracie was so happy that she wasn't able to control her excitement and exclaimed in joy.

Ace, who was smirking due to Antony's expression, completely forgot about his presence and walked towards his nightingale.

"Did you like it?" Ace questioned in pride.

"I did! It was so cool! I couldn't even see the ball! It was so fast! And, and you jumped sooo high in the sky, it, it looked like you were flying! Papa! You were so cool! I loved it!" Gracie continued throwing a number of compliments and the more she did, the more Ace smiled in pride.

He wasn't even that proud of himself when he defeated Vlade, the emperor, but now, now that he was seeing his little nightingale literally beaming in joy and praising him, he was literally on the another cloud.

On the other hand, Antony and his friends were still in shock due to what happened and were only able to come out of their reverie after Gracie's cheers. The three quickly walked towards Antony, followed by the two friends of Elizabeth, who were equally shocked.

"W-What just happened…?" Antony muttered in daze.

"F-Fluke! Yes, it was that! It has to it! A fluke! Antony, don't worry, I am sure he just got lucky. We just weren't prepared for it, he was better than we thought so he used that to catch us off guard and score a point.

But, it will only work once, there is no way you lose again! 1 is all they score!" one of Antony's friends, Randol, spoke and others nodded in agreement.

Even Elizabeth agreed to it and nodded, Elizabeth then turned her head and her eyes met Maeve's, who smirked. Elizabeth quickly diverted her gaze before speaking in a calm tone.

"He is right, they just got lucky, don't worry, we will win the point back"

While everyone was talking and giving different reasons about how Ace got lucky, the one who wasn't thinking the same as them was Antony.

He was the one who faces that strike, he still remembered how he only saw that flash before the wind slapped his face. He knew perfectly well how much power that strike had. Heck, he even thought that the smash could have been a way to attack someone. It was just that powerful.

'You all say this… but…' Antony thought inwardly before turning his head back and glancing at the ball, which was still spinning on the top of the sand.

'How can you all explain that smoke coming out of the ball?' Antony completed before he glanced at Ace, who was receiving praises from that little girl and was looking unusually happy about it and wasn't even glancing at him.

"This isn't the discussion time, you know? Or is it that you already gave up after one round?" Maeve, who had a smug smirk on her face spoke.

Elizabeth's lips twitched in irritation before she replied, "Oh don't flatter yourself, you just got lucky"

She then walked towards the ball and though it felt was warmer than it should be, she completely ignored it threw it towards her.

"Lucky huh… we'll see about that…" Maeve chuckled lightly, obviously enjoying the torment visible on Antony's face. The man, who was glancing at her from time to time, didn't even dare to raise his head now.

She wanted to see that same expression on Elizabeth's face. Or maybe even worse, who knows? But one thing was sure, Maeve was enjoying this beach ball game more than she should have.

"Alright, Daarliiing~ Would you mind coming back and continue the game?" Maeve turned towards Ace and questioned, and as soon as Ace heard that smiling 'Daarliing', shivers went through his spine.

"A-As you say, my love… Little Gracie, let me go and complete the match, okay?"

"Okies~ I will cheer for you even more!" Gracie answered excitedly. Ace patted her head before rushing towards Maeve.

"Would you like for me to serve, my love?" Ace questioned.

Maeve nodded and Ace quickly grabbed the ball and started with the serve.

*Bam*

The ball was aimed directly at Antony, but the way he was just staring at a random spot, it was clear that his mind wasn't in the game, at all.

Elizabeth noticed that and dived towards him, barely hitting the ball before falling on the ground.

"What are you doing!? Focus on the match!!" She roared in anger.

"Huh…?" Antony finally came out of his reverie and he looked around in a dumb way.

"What are you looking here and there for? The ball is in the air you dumbass!" Elizabeth roared again, irritated by how this man was acting so idiotically.

Antony looked up before hitting the ball again, giving enough time for Elizabeth to stand up and prepare for a smash.

Elizabeth smirked, and jumped, she then glanced at Ace, who was just lazing around, not even bothering to look at her, though it looked like he was a good target, Elizabeth was still paranoid about how he dealt with Antony's smash and turned towards Maeve, who was smirking at her as if challenging her to shoot at her.

Elizabeth accepted the challenge and shot at Maeve, who smiled even more and faced the smash with a single hand, just like Ace did.

The ball flew back in the air and Ace hit it again, giving Maeve the final smash.

Maeve, who understood Ace's intentions smiled even more before glancing at Elizabeth as a chuckle escape her mouth. She then jumped in the air and,

*Bam*

*Whoosh*

The incident that happened with Antony was repeated again the only difference being was the one who faced the smash.

Elizabeth.

Just like Antony, the ball passed right through her, not even giving her a chance to see it. She only realized it when the gust of wind slapped her face and the *bam* of the ball hitting the ground was heard. Shocking her to the core.

She was out of words... she couldn't describe what she was feeling...

"Lucky huh… We'll see about that…"

Maeve repeated what she said earlier as her smirk widened even more.

'Out of all the people you could challenge, you chose Maeve?

If this isn't a bad decision, I don't know what is…

The beautiful, angel-like, innocent-looking Maeve, is actually scary…

Very scary…

And you'll learn that soon, but not in a good way'

Ace sighed inwardly, pitying the girl named Elizabeth.

Score: [2-0]
