I Hope That You Guys Are Prepared

"Is everything prepared?" The lion-kin who Ace met in the dining room while having breakfast spoke solemnly.

"Everything is prepared as you ordered, Lord Valent. Half of the staff was replaced by our men, the food we served had sleeping pills in it. Everything is going according to the plan, by now, most of the guests and the staff would be asleep, allowing us to do anything we want.

Also, for the sake of safety, we have emptied the 2 rooms surrounding their room. So you don't have to worry" A person wearing black robes reported.

"Are there any factors that can lead to a failure?" Lord Valent questioned.

"Well, there are actually. There are two guests who are relatively powerful than the others. If they wake up and try to stop us, there are chances that we might fail" The black guy replied.

"Who are they? Are they men or women?"

"One is a human woman and the other is a Boar-kin male"

"Hmm, if it is like this, then though we might have to worry about that female we don't have to worry about that boar kin, if he decides to interfere, we will just add him into our plan, I don't believe any man would be able to reject the temptation of that meat!" Lord Valent licked his lips perversely as if imagining something lewd.

"Hehe, Lord Valent, I heard that the woman is a beauty, is it true?" Another man, wearing the same black-colored robes questioned.

Hearing that, the smile on Valent's lips turned sinister as he exclaimed, "Beauty? That word is an insult to her, she's celestial~ She's the most enchanting woman I have seen in my entire life!

She's an otherworldly beauty!

And today, I will have a taste of that beauty and that too in front of that cocky man. Oh I would love to see his expression when his wife will moan under me. I will make him watch every second of it before killing him! Hahaha!"

"Lord… You will…"

"Haa! Don't worry, after I have my time, I will let you all have fun! Hahaha! The more the better! I want to see that guy's face filled with despair and helplessness. Hahaha!"

"Hahaha!" Everyone laughed maniacally.

"Alright, now let's head out, Are your weapons ready?"

Everyone nodded.

"Alright, remember, be as silent as possible, it won't be good if we wake higher authorities of the Golden Moon Inn, though we have taken countermeasures, I don't want to offend Golden Moon Inn without any reasons. We don't know much about its mysterious master.

Now, Let's go!" Lord Valent commanded as he wore a black-colored robe and a giant hammer appeared in his hand as he walked towards the door.

The door opened and Lord Valent's eyes turned wide in surprise as he saw a person standing in front of him with a smile on his face, it was as if he was waiting for him to open the door.

"Hello" Ace greeted.

"Y-You..."

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen… sixteen and… including you, seventeen." Ace counted nonchalantly.

"W-What are you doing?" Lord Valent questioned, suddenly, a bad premonition arose in his heart.

"So, leaving him aside, there are sixteen of you, how many of you know about all the people who replaced the normal staff?" Ace questioned, completely ignoring Valent who was standing in front of him.

"…" Of course, nobody answered, everyone was confused about what was happening.

"Oh? Sorry about that, you all must be confused right now, let me introduce myself, My name is Ace Vorste, the man that you all were planning against just now.

So, right now we are enemies, but, since I am a righteous person who hates killing randomly, I will give you a chance to live if you tell me about the other people who invaded the inn as imposters" Ace offered, the smile on his face never faded even once.

"W-Who do you think you are!? You think you can come here alone and threaten us!? The only one who will die i-"

"Ahh, I'll be honest, I knew you people won't trust me, so thank you, Mr. Dead, I was waiting for someone to refute me so I could make an example out of him" after saying that, Ace disappeared from other's vision, confusing and alerting everyone, especially the man who just called him out.

*Thud*

A sound was heard and when everyone turned towards it, they saw that man lying on the floor with a surprised expression on his face, while Ace had placed his knee on his back, not allowing him to move at all.

"W-What are y-"

Ace completely ignored the man's barking as he nonchalantly held his hand before grabbing the index finger.

"AAAGGHHHHH!!!"

The man cried in pain as Ace pulled out his finger with his bare hands, not even using a knife to cut it, just brute force, making it as painful as possible.

"Sorry about that, my methods are not exactly refined, but you'll get used to it, no worries :)" Ace spoke with the same smile as he grabbed another finger before pulling it out.

"AAAGGHHHH!!!"

This continued till there was no finger left on that hand, only by then, did Lord Valent recovered from his reverie and shouted.

"What are you all doing!? Go and attack him! There is no way he can take us all alone!"

"R-Right! Everyone, ATTACK!!" saying that many of them rushed towards Ace with their dangerous-looking weapons.

While some, who were proficient with magic starting muttering chants to prepare for a big and well-coordinated attack.

Even after seeing these people running towards him with a fierce look on their faces while colorful spells following right after them, the smile on Ace's face remained as he unceremoniously pulled out the whole arm of the man lying under him before throwing it towards the upcoming people.

Ace then waved his hand and a sealing inscription covered the room, not allowing anyone to come or leave without Ace's permission.
