Prologue: Reincarnation

"Argh!! Fuck! Even after all this time, I'm still a virgin! I spent all this time cultivating, killing, robbing, and many other deeds, but not once have I tasted the forbidden fruit! I'm an immortal for fuck sake! Is it too much to ask for a little romance?! Then I'd be able to take care of a cute little daughter!" A handsome young man yelled in the middle of a street.

People around him immediately looked over to see what was going on and as they were about to complain, they were mesmerized by this young man's looks.

He had long black hair tied up in a ponytail, a body rippling with muscles but he wasn't bulky, and an appearance and temperament that made people think he looked like an immortal… Well, he actually was an immortal.

The women immediately had hearts in their eyes when they looked at him and a few even started to walk over to him while swaying their big plump butts in hopes of attracting his attention.

"Hey, handsome-"

"Ugh! Fuck off!"

"!?"

The woman didn't even get a chance to finish before the young man cursed at her then disappeared.

Everyone was bewildered and the women were stunned for several reasons. One, they didn't think such a handsome man could be so foul. Two, the man literally just disappeared without a trace, almost like he never existed in the first place.

After being stunned for a few seconds, everyone shook their heads and started to carry on with their day.

This young man's name was Dante Black and despite his young appearance, has actually lived for over 200,000 years.

Not only that, but Dante reincarnated into this world of Cultivation. If we are to understand a bit of Dante's story, we must first go back to his first life on his home planet, Earth.

***

Dante was a very… unique individual on Earth. He was extremely handsome, grew up in a middle-class household, always did well in school, but if there was anything that was wrong with him it was his personality.

It was terrible, to say the least.

In his early years, he was always easily agitated, cursed at people constantly, and was rude to pretty much everyone.

He never felt ashamed of his behavior, on the contrary, he was proud of it and had no shame in announcing his superiority to the world.

Throughout his life, girls would confess to him, guys would want to befriend him, and strangers would always stare at him from a distance. The cause of this was mainly because of his looks and diligent personality, but every time this happened he would do the same thing.

He'd tilt his head upwards, frown slightly, and with a look of disdain on his face, say:

"Are you worthy?"

Then shake his head in disappointment and walk away.

The people who heard this would always curse at him behind his back and say:

"This fucker! Just because he looks good, he dares to act this arrogant!"

But nobody would say this to his face and even if they did, Dante would just shake his head in disappointment and walk away.

That's where Dante was often misunderstood. He didn't say this because of his good looks, hard-working attitude, family background, good grades, or anything of the like. He believed he was superior due to his mentality.

All these people only cared about fame, fortune, women/men, and other trivial mortal matters. Dante firmly believed with all his soul that Earth was just a trial ground. One used to temper the will and mentality of a person that will decide whether someone is worthy of transcending to a higher world, free of mortal matters.

And when Dante discovered Wuxia novels, his beliefs became as stable as a mountain. Nothing would be able to change his thoughts on the matter.

That's also when Dante started preparing his leave for a higher world, a world of cultivation.

He read every single Wuxia novel ever written. It didn't matter if the novel was good or not, he would read every word of it until the end.

He would take notes on things that caught his attention, study them, and form his own conclusions based on his research.

Dante would also practice martial arts and weapon techniques in his free time so that he wouldn't be completely useless when he transcended. Who knows what sort of shitty situation he'll be in after he arrives in that new world filled with unknown dangers.

After 60 years of living like this, Dante finally felt like he was ready. He had memorized every theory that he had come up with so much that it wouldn't come as a surprise if it was ingrained into his very soul.

All this while, Dante has barely spoken to anyone or done anything other than reading, training, and theorizing. By this point, Dante was confident that utilizing his vast amount of knowledge regarding cultivation and all of its mysteries, he would be able to reach the peak with minimal external assistance.

He was confident he'd be able to create his own cultivation manual to suit his needs perfectly. As long as he had enough resources, he should be able to reach the peak. He could use his own fighting technique to survive until he got strong enough to research other techniques and create better ones.

Now with all of his preparations done, Dante was ready for his transcendence.

He put a gun to his head and said his final words:

"Be grateful that I stayed on this shitty planet this long, Earth. I hope that we never meet again!"

Meanwhile, he was constantly thinking, 'Wuxia world, Wuxia world, Wuxia world, Wuxia world, Wuxia world, Wuxia world'

*BANG!!*

Dante committed suicide full with a face full of pride.

As Dante's body hit the ground, his soul disappeared into the void, but it didn't break down or get consumed. No, it was traveling through the void.

If one were to look closely at his soul, one would be able to see everything that made up Dante along with all of his theories and knowledge. The only thing that was left out were things that Dante deemed unimportant. So basically everything up until the point he discovered Wuxia novels.

After an undetermined amount of time, Dante's soul finally appeared outside of a massive… world?

It can't even be classified as a world and more like a Realm or Dimension. The land was vibrant and full of life, but it seemed infinite. Even if one were to back away from this place, they would find that it never got smaller in their view.

Unfortunately, Dante wasn't able to see this scene as he was only a soul without a physical body currently.

His soul continued to travel through the void until it made its way into this Realm. As it crossed over, the soul continued its travel in a fashion that made it seem like it was searching for something.

And in fact, it was searching for something. The soulless was looking for a body to possess, but that was easier said than done since every living thing contained a soul and if a body didn't possess a soul then that body was useless.

Unlike what Dante has read up until now about reincarnation and transmigration, his soul couldn't just take over a body that has recently died. This is because although the body is dead and the soul inside it has dispersed, that body still housed someone else's soul. Immediately making it incompatible with Dante's.

So Dante's soul had to search for a living body that hasn't yet formed a soul. The best answer for this is a fetus that's still in the womb, but this is easier said than done as even a fetus will immediately form a soul as soon as it becomes a living entity.

This means that Dante's soul needs to essentially enter his new body at the exact moment of inception.

Dante's soul roamed the Realm endlessly until it spotted its opportunity and sped straight towards a woman who didn't even know she was pregnant with a child yet.
