The Incident

Before Yami knew it, the Exchange Groups timing had come up. Yami felt overwhelmed with anxiety and fury. The last time she had gone to it, Yuki had been toxic and extremely rude as well. Jae had been fine, but it still was very uncomfortable. She hoped that Yuki wouldn't be like last time, but the chances were slim!

"Are you almost ready? I heard Ophelia is a little bit strict about time," Akuji commented as Yami finally finished putting on her black cape. She felt more…fit in with the students here at the academy now. Actually, that was a lie. She still felt the same and equally embarrassed about equally everything. "Yami…are you okay?"

Yami quickly noticed Akuji and answered quickly. "Yeah. And about Ophelia, I think we're going to be okay. We just have to hurry up as quick as we can. C'mon, let's go!" The two girls quickly picked up their bags and ran out of the door into the hall. It was nearing Christmastime, so it was actually snowing outside, even in the dark. The school had at least allowed a few Christmas trees here and there, some decorated with green and red lanterns and such. It was well appreciated; as it reminded Yami of her home at this time of year.

Home. Yami thought in her head as they walked to the courtyard. It was such a plain word. The fact was that Yami felt like she had no home anymore. Since she had been placed in the Dark Academia, her family would completely dispose of her if she came back. She was truly scared, as she knew that the only place left for her was here. This dark, raggedy, truly evil place. The place where a goddess would haunt her and hunt her down, having every intention of killing her. Yami didn't like it here, she wanted to come back home, but that was obviously not possible.

"We are almost there!" Akuji pointed out, as they could see the large crowd of Dark students gathering around, glaring at the Light students who sat daintly on dewy grass. The Darks, however, sat on burnt grads that smelt freshly like smoke. Yami sighed and walked over towards where she could see Kira. The two had a strange connection; Kira still spoke to Yami even though she had admittedly injured her. "Wait…Yami, do you remember what that instructor, Mei, from last month said? Do you remember at all?" Akuji questioned, and Yami thought about it for a second. All of the sudden, she remembered!

"We have to survive in a forest for…what was it, three days? Oh gosh…I totally wasn't prepared for this!" Yami groaned, and sat on the grass near Kira. Akuji faintly followed behind and sat right next to her. The schools were straight across from each other, so students were apt to glare and sneer. Yami knew this, since she saw a few Light Students shouting rude things at the opposing side. She craned her neck, trying to see if she could find Jae, but something caught her attention.

A girl with brown hair in a high ponytail was sitting with her arms folded around her knees. She seemed to be crying, and nevertheless, alone. She was on the Light Academia side, but didn't seem like anyone one was interested. Despite this, Yami just continued to try to find Yuki; after all, that was one of her main purposes.

However, she looked around but didn't even see a girl with accessories of all sorts on a huge poofy dress like Yuki wore. The only girl who really had any resemblance at all to Yuki was that girl sulking in the corner of the opposing field. Then, a few of the "mean girls" from the Light started teasing her.

"Yuki, you're so pathetic! Who even wants you?" A girl with blonde hair yelled. Yami's eyes widened as she realized that the girl who was sulking was Yuki. She dropped her mouth open and stared until Mei and Ophelia would come. She was too shocked…why was Yuki like this? What on earth had happened to her?

In a few minutes, a woman with long, white, flowy hair stepped in. She had mystical white eyes and dark brown skin, like Sachiko's. She had on an elegant gown covered in diamonds and as well as a few rubies. She looked graceful and content, despite the Dark's swaggering glares. Yami stared in awe at this wonderful woman; which was the demigoddess, headmistress, sister of Rosa; Ophelia!

When she spoke, her voice contented all of Yami's worries. She had a soft, humming tone and seemed well towards motherly. "There was a tremendous change in plan's, you will not—agh!" Ophelia fell to the ground, clutching her head. Everyone panicked and widened their eyes as the amazing demigoddess hurled into the ground. Ophelia looked through the crowd in pain, eyes searching for a certain someone. Then, the demigoddess' eyes landed on Yami. She widened her eyes in shock as everything went black, the screaming and sounds all gone. The word fell into complete darkness and she couldn't see her friends, nor her enemies. She could faintly hear the sounds of everyone screaming for both Yami and Ophelia, but that didm't matter…did it? All Yami needed to know was why she was…passing out. First thing, Ophelia had stared at her. Second thing, she was now all of the sudden darkness. There was no escape. She was stuck. Unable to move.

What the heck would happen now?
