‘‘This guy isn't aware of what he's getting himself into...’’ Mom stated in the middle of us watching a romantic comedy in the living room. ‘‘It was a mistake for him to break up with his millionaire girlfriend. Does he believe that he will be able to meet another girl who loves him the same way?’’

‘‘She deserves someone better…'' Rina said as she munched her potato chips. Her eyes glued to the television. ‘‘Right, Mich?’’

I quickly jerked my head in their direction. Because my mind was preoccupied with other things, I haven't been able to concentrate on the movie.

‘‘Yeah…’’ After a brief response, I turned back to the television to continue watching.
