‘‘Hi, Lita…’’ My voice trembled with excitement as I greeted her upon seeing her again, after so many days.

‘‘Hey… It’s wonderful to have you back with us.’’ She leaned in closer and gave me a bear embrace, and I returned the favor by giving her one in kind. ‘‘I missed you...’’
