I had just stepped out of the shower, a small towel wrapped around my body, and another one in my hand drying my hair, when I noticed Devon sitting on my bed, waiting for me impatiently.

‘‘We will move your belongings in my room, and you have to sleep there from now on, okay?’’ he demanded as he pulled me to sit on his lap. ‘‘What do you think, hmmm?’’

I took this photo secretly using my phone when he wasn’t looking at me. While the other picture was me as Michael, taking a selfie. ‘‘These pictures were the reason why I panicked when I lost this necklace. I only have this copy with me…’’
