Chapter 57 CHAPTER
I looked up from picking up my shattered phone and I was met by his gaze with a serious face. He normally had that look after a busy day so, I brushed it off.
“Who is Honey?” he repeated. Was this the right time to tell him the truth? I sighed as I walked towards him, locking my eyes with his intense gaze, my expression far from my excited mood earlier. I cleared my throat and spoke. “Honey is the name of my daughter.”
Confusion, surprised and disappointment were now apparent in his eyes. “Honey?” he took his pace back and forth inside the room, his fingers raked his hair frustatedly. “Why would you name her after me? I don’t understand Yoo-Mi. She was your best friend’s daughter yet you named her after me, unless—“ his eyes widened when the realization hit him.
And slowly I nodded as the tears couldn’t stop falling on my face. “Yes Jeonghan, Honey is your daughter. She’s yours.”
And he cried.
