Lost In The Woods

Pedro closed the inn early, he didn't have much customers that day. He was so tired and stressed out, Pedro was a little old with a little grey hair but he worked like a young man. It was getting dark already, so he rushed home immediately. When he got home, it was very quiet, it was always quiet because they lived a little far from the main Village But the kind of quietness made him suspect something strange. He looked around the cottage just to be sure everything was fine. It was dark, He went closer to the door and it opened before he could unlock it with the key.

" this is strange, Ella would never open the door. Did I forget to lock the door earlier, he thought. He took a step in, Now he was sure that something was really wrong. It was dark and cold inside, No lamp was lit and Ella wasn't downstairs either to welcome Pedro like always. "Ella! Ella! he called twice but there was no answer. He run upstairs to check on her but she wasn't there. "No My daughter would never leave the house, Something is wrong, he said in panick. He quickly lit up all the lamps in each room then hurriedly went back outside holding one lamp. He passed through the door twice just to be sure of Something. " Sheila!! he muttered. No No! Not my daughter! Pedro locked the door, he left to find his Ella.

Ella was already Feeling strange after walking a distance from the cottage. It was dark, she stood. " Can we go back now, Pa might get home before me. Thank you so much, At least I got to see the outside and i could the feel the air, touched the ground, picked flowers and leaves, It's really beautiful out here but we should go back now, she said with a smiley face.

" Oh dear, you are so sweet. You trust too much, I thought after spending almost your entire life hidden in the cottage made you grow in to a smart pretty young lady but I was wrong, my fear was for Nothing! Sheila laughed. Ella got confused, she didn't know what the old lady meant by that.

" what do you mean and why are you laughing? she asked.

" I lied about everything dear! Just everything. Am not human like you!

Ella's eyes widened in fear. " who are you?

"All I wanted all these years was to get hold of this. Sheila opened her palm to show Ella the diamond that fell from her necklace.

" wait that's mine, she said trying to Grab it but Sheila closed her palm quickly.

" it's mine Now princess! she laughs again. Ella slowly took steps back, she knew that Sheila was up to something because she was acting strange.

" You want to escape from me! just like what your mother did! well you can go! go darling. Ella turned to run, she suddenly stopped. Sheila appeared in front of her, she became more frightened.

" You can't go anywhere now Ella and your father will never find you! watch this. Sheila slowly started to transform, her skin started to crack. Her nose and her nails grew longer, all her hair disappeared. She suddenly turned into an ulgly creature. Ella's heart pounded so fast, she thought she was losing her mind. Her body shivered from fear, she didn't even have the strength to scream. They were in the middle of the woods.

" you.u.u..u a..re a witch! she stuttered hold her mouth unable to believe what was happening. Sheila laughed even more making different sounds, Ella run quickly without knowing where she was going. It was too dark to see in the woods, She ran as fast as she could. Sheila was done laughing but when she looked around, Ella wasn't there anymore. She raised the diamond up in the air and muttered some strange words, to her surprise the diamond didn't work.

" No! this is suppose to work! come on work! eist pa ta fe sa eist!!! she changed direction but nothing worked. Sheila wanted to use the fastest way to find Ella by using the diamond, but it didn't work so she decided to search for her around the woods. Ella got lost, she couldn't find her way back home. She started crying regretting All her actions. That was the worst thing that has ever happened to her. The more she walked the more scary the place became. She was in the middle of a thick bush, the more she thought about it, the more frightened she got especially that she has never been alone outside and away from home.

" Papa! she cried. Someone! please Help! she yelled. Sheila heard that, An evil smile appeared on her face so she followed the directions of the sound.
