Stone Walls

Waking up in a haze, I sit up while touching my head as it was ringing like crazy. Looking around, I could only stare up at the tall walls that surrounded me on either side. A large closed off area, much like the forest in a sense.

As I rested my fingers and hands into one of the cool, stone walls, I abruptly shook and woke up back on the bench bear the railway station. Turning in shock as a stranger woke me as she told me the train had arrived. Looking around ant at the stoopibg train, I nodded and quickly took off.

While walking, I stopped for a brief moment as the dream was still fresh in my mind. It felt as if I had been there before. So sure of myself, my hands came into view. Wondering what that was all about, I headed back home in a slight daze.

~

Walking through the front door, Kira had long since left as Mirana was desperate for my forgiveness. Gulping, I passed her by until I was stopped cold in my tracks. Amy stood in my way as she slapped me across my face. Shaken by this, I stood frozen as tears slid down from under her eyes.

"You are my sister... She is our mother... The twins ar eour baby brothers... Don't act like you don't care about us anymore, you have nk right! " Looking down from her gaze to her hand as it clenched the contents of the envelope Kira gave me, I shuddered.

"If you want to hate me... Go ahead, but, I'm not going to out on the innocent, blind act anymore. If you want me to the bad guy in all this, take a good look because this is moey likely the last time you'll ever get to see this Xie. " Throwing the envelope to my face, she ran upstairs and shit the door with enough force to make the shutters dance around the house.

"Xie... " Ignoring Mirana, I headed upstairs and into my room as I took a seat on my bed.

Thinking long and hard about what I needed to do, Ring suddenly came into mind. Slightly blushing when I reilized how I phrased it, my hand slid back as I laid down on the bed. Forgetting everything that happened for a slight second, I suddenly thought of the small space in the forest again.

When I opened my eyes, a word suddenly came into mind.

"Athelmia... " Unsure why I made up a word and said it, my glasses began to get cloudy.

Removing them to clean with my shirt, I slid them back on and instantly stared in suspence as I was in another room. Stunned by this, I sat up and looked around. There was a crest on the door handles. The entire room was filled with color as I looked down and held my breath while looking at the color of my skin and hair.

There was so much pain in and around the room as if someone had violently painted at random with a pitch back brush. The colors were all stained dark as I stood up. There was no reason, no guide nor pattern. It was as if the room reflected the inside of someone else's mind.

Turning towards the door in a quick glance, I shivered as someone wanted to get in. Unable to, the door remained locked. Knowing if I walked to open the door, nothing good could come from it. Turning around as everything calmed, I moved to state at the twisted artwork.

Stopping at the center of the room where one square of pitch black pain rested, I tiltead my head as I wondered what it was about. Meaning my arm on the wall, I flinched ss light suddenly luminated an imprint of my fingers and palm.

Moving my finger across the black surface I smiled as the roon began to brighten with color. Unable to control myself, I took off my socks and found that even the ground was painted in light. Stepping and swirling without restraint, I brightened the room with intensity.

The colors I wrapped myself with suddenly looked an awful familiarity to someone else I knew. Smiling, I then lifted my hands as I began moving colors around. Slowly, I began painting a portrait of Ring and Mia as they laughed without restraint.

Tearing up the moment I finished, my face and body was stained in so many different colors. It made the portrait all the more special as I found a warming comfort from simply gazing at it.

The sound if the door escalated until finally bursting open and from within the black void, I woke up in my room. Sitting up ecstatic, I caught my breath while wondering what kind if dream that was.

Looking down at my arms and legs, everything was reverted back into black and white. As I wondered what in the hell just happened, I turned my hands over and stared under rmy fingernails as small socks of color still remained shining with a fading light.

Freaked out as I was nice longer ceritan if I was losing my mind, my heart began pounding. Turning my gaze up, I looked out the window and relaxed my eyed as if a sudden wave of restlessness, overtook my body.

Before long, I was awake while staring out into the open world with a half dead gaze. Unable to move a muscle, something wild and unbelievable happened. The color of the windows light began to rise as if so thing was coming into view. Gulping, I was helpless to move as I remained still.

Ad I watched din terror as this was not right, nothing made sence as a slight flash of light suddenly came into view. With its intensity, I sat in pause as a small thin and beautiful hand reached out.

Astonished as with the hand, a small, beautiful little girl with a breathtaking colored dress walked right through. As she turned to face me, I remained stunned in awe as if life itself was in the form if this small, petite little girl.

Without opening her eyes, she raised her hand and touched my cheek as she slightly tiltead her head. Not uttering a single word, she gave a faint smile and then opened her mouth with joyful tears rolling down her closed eyes.

Each tear felt like a star had been born in radiant light. Taking my hand, she then pulled me as pulled body followed her into the large mirror of light.

As I was pulled in, my mothers button fell from my hand just before I left...

I'm aware that my grammatical wording leaves improvement on my part...

No excuses when it comes to literature, which is why I must comment and apologize as each day I add a new chapter while half-dazed. Passing over small mistakes that somewhat dissolve the illusion, I plan on fixing as well in time.

I truly am passionate about writing and creating new worlds. The story will continue to progress, however, it will no longer be through the eyes of Xie... Hmm.
