Light smiled at the young man sitting beside her stuffing his face with food Abigail punched him on the shoulders laughing out.

" Slow down Matthew you are going to chock " Abigail spock taking the bowl of food from his hand.

He tried taking it back from her with a deep frown on his face.

" Please...give me back the food am so hungry " He begged giving her his puppy eyes.

" It not working " She responded chuckling lightly.

" You meanings I will tell my mum you two are bulling me again " He spoke faking tears.

" Mummies boy " Light spoke gently raising herself to rest up properly on the bed.

" Even you girlfriend " He spoke crying out loudly giving her a light pinch on the leg.

" Ohh..I'm going to beat your up black and blue the moment I get better " She spoke glaring at him.

Abigail laughed at the two best friends playfulness Mathew and Light were childhood sweethearts in primary school till their secondary school he lift Nigeria when he was still in Jss 1 going abroad to stay with his sick mum.

His two parents had to stay apart because of his mother sickness the doctor in Africa couldn't treat her so she had to be taken abroad.

But it seems like his mother health was getting better so he could return to study in Nigeria for his university level.

"Speaking of girlfriend tell me do you finally have one ? " Abigail asked curiously she remembered Mathew was a shy type he didn't talk to girls because he was to afraid he would say something stupid so the only friend he could keep was light and true light they became friends as well.

When they were little she remember they would always tease him over being to shy to speak to girls.

But staring at him now he was a grown guy not a small kid anymore.

He sighed deeply his smile disappearing off his face.

" I have a girlfriend " He responded at Abigail question.

" That great news we are so happy for you" Light and Abigail spoke happily giving themselves an high five.

Light observed the dull look on his face he wasn't smiling with them.

" What wrong Mathew is there something wrong going on between you two " She asked staring at his face.

" She wants to break up with me , we meet online that night my friend Cruz asked me to just chat up any young lady and ask her out and I did and ever since have never been more happier " He sighed resting into his sit .

" Then why does she wants to break up with you ? " Abigail asked becoming a defensive angry mother chicken.

It made him smile remember their childhood days together Abigail was always the hot headed one.

" She is from a poor bar ground and she studying theater act in the university of Lagos state , she is breaking up with me because all of a sudden she realize my family will never accept her because of the bar ground she is coming from " He spoke robbing his left arm feeling low in spirit and heart broken.

" We are so sorry Mathew what can we do to help " Light placed her hand on his robbing it lightly.

" Now I see the reason you were so excited to inform us of your coming to the university of Lagos because you plan on winning her heart back you dum love sick sweetheart " Abigail was lost of words feeling sorry for him at the same side dum stroke by his guts.

" I Love Her , I will do anything to make her believe I would do anything for her as long as she give me a chance to show it to her "He spoke determination flashing true his eyes.

Abigail grumbled pouting her lips cutely

" Why am I always caught between friends who have relationship problems , it not fair you two are cruel "

Light and Mathew laughed happily Abigail joining in.
