Don't ever do that again

Anthony trow his hands in the air the police cars light shinning on his face brighting up the part he was standing.

The officers got down from their van going over to him pushing him down to his kneel.

One of the police me touched his body to make sure he wasn't having any weapons on him.

The driver rushed over towards his direction.

" Sir he is the kid I said saved both me and one young ladies life " The driver quickly spoke clearing Anthony name.

* Is that so..? " The police man spoke staring at Anthony he stared at his team of officers gesturing for them to go at the direction were the driver had told them of the bandits.

The police officer quickly rushed over to the direction walking carefully with there guns in their hands.

Anthony smiled secretly their weren't going to meet much his hands still spread wide apart in the air.

" He will still have to come with us at the police station for proper questioning before he can be released to go home " The police officer spoke placing his gun back into the gun holder positioned in his uniform.

The driver nodded in understanding the troops of police men came back one of them walking over to there head of police.

" Sir there is only one surviver but he is badly injured and the others as been gruesomely killed " The police officer reported the information to his head in the department.

" What do you mean by the criminals are all died expect one " The man shock was openly heard in his tone.

The driver shook his head for Anthony bravely and foolishness he admired the young guys confidence and guts.

The head police officer stared at Anthony unable to know the right words to express his shock.

" Young man did you take down those bandits alone with any help with what this man narrated he said you helped him escape with a lady it was to good to be true but now that am hearing this am baffled to now how you did it " The man spock having some respect and fear for Anthony.

" Call it self defense" Anthony spoke with a straight face his eyes cold and empty.

Light had waken up at the arrival of getting to Abigail house she saw her friend standing outside of the gate with a worried look in her eyes.

The driver stopping at the front gate Abigail rushed over to the back sit opening the door and giving her a tight hug the driver had explained to her over the phone everything that had happened.

" Light... am so happy you are safe am never letting you out of my sight " Abigail spoke almost crying out in relief.

Light looked around not seeing Anthony anywhere she remembered falling asleep in his arms now he was no were to be found in the car.

" Abi we're is Anthony? " Her voice sounded urgent and filled with panic and fear her feeling only grow stronger seeing the sad sobber look on Abigail face..

" Light the driver told me he had to stay back and fight off some bandits so you could come home safely" Abigail spock in a low tone lowering her eyes.

Tears rolled down light face her body trembling she cursed herself out loud for falling asleep.

" Driver take me back we need to do something we can't sit here and wait Anthony most be in danger" She spoke her voice breaking in fear the light in her eyes slowly fading away.

" Light you can't go back Anthony wouldn't want you to put you self in danger he is still back their because of you " Abigail spock shaking light by the shoulders to bring her back to her senses.

" I Can't Sit Here And Wait ! Wh... What. If Some Thing Bad As Happened To Him It Will Be All My Fault Abi I Shouldn't Have Falling Asleep Why Didn't,He wake Me Up " She screamed trembling in fear pain flashing true her eyes .

Abigail hugged her both girls crying thinking of the worst possible option that could have happened to Anthony.

" He is going to be okay light nothing going to happen to him Anthony will come back safe and sound" She spoke trying to cheer up her friend mood even do she knew it was pointless.

The driver finally spoke up turning to face the two women.

" I have called the police and I need to take them to the location I will advise you two to pray hard and stay in doors" The man spoke with a sobber down cast look on his face.

Abigail gentle helped light out of the back sit as the both watched the driver speed off into the roads.

" Common let go inside" Abigail voice brought light attention away from the empty path the driver car had just disappeared true.

She nodded slowly following Abigail true the gate into their apartment feeling guilty on the inside.

Anthony got to the police station the gave him a sit as the prepared the documentation stating that Anthony attacked the bandits out of self defense that meant no charges what so ever would be pressed against him, They checked his criminal record and he didn't have one.

The driver sat by his side sporting the bult hole in Anthony left arm the man pulled his hand alarming the police head.

" You are losing a lot of blood son how are you even bearing the pain are you not even human anymore" The man screamed at him tiering off a piece of clothing applying force on the wound.

Anthony mind was drifted off picturing light crying face he was more consigned about the tears falling from her eyes than the deep wound in his arm it wasn't the first time he was short by a gun.

" Thank you sir but am more interested in going back to school I will attend to the wounds later " He responded to the man blabbering with a pissed off tone.

" Are you insane you will attend to such a wound later what do you think you are son some immortal don't forget Their is still a word called death and if you don't attend to that bleeding now you won't even make it to the road not more your school " The man scolded him frowning deeply the clothing in his hand was already getting filled up by Anthony blood.

The police head rushed over to them quickly ordering his men to call an ambulance Anthony was bleeding badly.

Anthony sighed deeply all he wanted was for them to give him a bail so he could go back to school.

Jbabe would be glade to take out the bullet for him and stick up his wound with a nice rapping if he needed it they were all over exaggerating peter would laugh if he heard he was rushed by an ambulance just for a bullet wound.

Not long the ambulance arrived nursed quickly placing him on a stretcher rolling him into the bus as the rode of to a hospital.

He was quickly taking to a ward a doctor stepped into the room to check his wound after all the running back and forth for hours the bullet was successful taking out of his arm and stitched.

The nurse wanted to help him bandage but be stopped her not wanting her any were near him he hated the hospital taking his shirt on the bed placing it on by his self with no help even do they were willing to offer some assistance.

The female doctor shook her head never for once seen such a hot headed patient before.

" You need to rest young man I just finished doing the stitching on your wound if you move to much you might just open it up again " She spoke a bit worriedly.

Anthony got off the bed placing on his shoes.

" Thanks for your consign but am fine the wound is not a big deal when you seen death like I have a small crash won't be a big deal " Anthony smiled walking towards the double doors of the ward.

The doctor had a surprised look on her face.

" Wait...what should I tell the police men when the show up tomorrow asking for you"

" Tell them am fine and i have taking my bail to go see my angel she most be so scared ,once again thank you" He responded walking out of the room leaving the hospital completely he was surprised to meet the driver waiting for him outside.

" I kinda knew you wouldn't stay in the hospital tonight want to go home son your girlfriend will be happy to see you she as almost cried her eyes out " The driver spock going into the front sit.

Anthony opened the back door and took a sit a deep smug of displeasure appearing on his handsome face.

" You are one brave kid thank you for saving my life out there what you did make me reflect and appreciate life more your girlfriend is one lucky young lady to have you " The man spoke smiling at Anthony true the review mirror as the car drove Into the silent streets.

Anthony didn't say a word he only wanted to see light and wide the tears off her face and but a bright big smile on her innocent face.

The finally arrived at her house the driver parking his vehicle the man had called Abigail the moment the arrived.

" You..two are out side " She spoke out tears of joy falling down her face she had never been this happy in her life.

Light quickly got up from the bed she already got the information without Abigail passing it over to her Anthony had made it he had fought to come back to her .

She ran out of the apartment going to the gate opening it quickly her hands shaking as the gate door was thrown aside her figure sanding Infront of the car light.

Anthony stepped down from the back sit standing rooted to his position he didn't know why he couldn't move maybe because a part of him didn't know he would be standing before her again.

Tears rolling down her face her eyes totally red and swollen she stood in place unable to grab hold of her own feelings.

" An...a.. Anthony!! " She spoke running into his arms hugging him tightly crying really loudly the more she thought of losing him the more tears she cried.

" Ouch .... my angel don't cry am fine " He spoke in a low tone parting her gently letting her cry as long as she wanted.

Her subbing died down as she sniffed cleaning the tears off her face.

" Don't Ever do that Again Got it " She spoke screaming at him.

He learned in pecking her lips watching her blush deeply his eyes gazing into hers gently.

" Never again my angel that mean we will be having our dates in my apartment" Anthony spoke in a teasing tone graining widely.

Light nodded pulling him by the hand towards the compound. They heard the driver voice from behind turning to his direction.

" Good night am sure I be seeing you two soon enough " The man smiled stepping into his cab and driving off.

The waved goodbye also going into the compound.

" You be staying with us tonight Anthony I don't want you out of my sight until am setting your not a dream " Light spoke shyly pulling him to enter into the apartment which he did obediently.

Abigail smiled not minded the extra room mate for the night.

" Welcome back Anthony" Abigail spock smiling brightly at the guy he was now a hero in her eyes and very thankful light had him.

Light laid on the bed Anthony laid right beside her keeping her in his arms he slept off instantly infact the both dozed of to dream land Abigail chuckled in a low voice covering them both with a blanket she took her pad taking a quick picture for future porpoises.

She laid at the edge of the bed wondering when she would also get her own knight she admired light and Anthony seeing a beautiful story in it they both came from to different worlds.

Light a rich child spoilt all her life with luxury and have two wonderful parents her father a powerful prominent man of God known by many in Lagos state and mother a beauty to behold the perfect pastor wife.

Anthony baba Lola a guy from a low bar ground a street bad boy from the geto lived the life of a hustler almost all his life the head of a dangerous gang group feared by many and still loved by all Abigail smiled this two worlds were far to different to clash but the worked so perfectly seeing light and Anthony sleep together Their wasn't a soul on earth that could make her believe true love and miracles didn't exist because she was seeing one Infront of her.
