4 A Platoon of Myself?

It seems this system is actually a super cool cheat. It just needs to be used intelligently.

Maybe, I can become even stronger than my classmates. However, using mana greatly increases my hunger. I need to eat something.

I cast my skill and create two clones. I give them a command telepathically to look for food and bring them here. They seem to understand it and walk away.

Half an hour later, they return. I am surprised to see they are dragging the corpse of the giant spider. No wonder, they took too long.

However, I notice these clones don't seem to get tired.

I grab the spider's leg and try to detach it yet it is tough. I can barely cause it to budge. I forgot that this is a high-level monster after all. Its defense is off the charts.

This skill allows me to take all the benefits the clones receive with no adverse effects.

Hehe. I have a great idea. I begin casting my skill and create 6 more clones.

I point at them. "Alright clones! I order you to eat this spider!"

The clones do what I say and begin munching the spider starting from the leg. They bite it off with no hesitation even if their teeth are to break.

Though, do I look like I'm enslaving myself?

Regardless, they manage to consume one leg of the spider. Looking at the clones they seem to be fine for now. Also, I feel rather sated. My hunger is now gone!

Woah! This is pretty great!

I almost forget about the Clone Skill. Though it's pretty broken since I can copy the skills of the target that I consume.

Before one can use a spell, they need to have the attributes. It seems I acquired the beast and earth attributes.

Judging from this, it seems there are two types of skill. Acquired skill and Unique skill.

Unique skills are only found on my system alone and not much else, while various monsters might be using the same Acquired skills.

While my clones are eating the spider, I begin doing some tests. I shoot out my web to the ceiling and it sticks. I smiled. This reminds me of spiderman.

Let's see if I can do the things he can.

I climb the silk and manage to reach the topmost. However, I find nothing to do there so I return down.

Next is to test the range. It seems it can only reach a maximum of 10 meters from my position.

It seems my clones are not capable of using my unique skills otherwise, it will be interesting to see for my clones to make other clones. However, it seems they can use acquired skills.

I let my clones use the skill [Silk Shooter] however, they just used most of their mana. It seems their magic capacity is not that great.

Regardless, this silk is useful since I can use this to block the entrance and hide my main body in the safe zone while my clones are doing some scouting. No, maybe I can even wrap and hang myself on the rock ceiling for extra protection.

I like to do more experiments, however, frequently using MP can cause me to go easily hungry.

With my extra stat points, I began distributing them.

I begin distributing my stats, especially on my agility and stamina since they are my priorities.

If I increase my wisdom, I can also increase my mana recovery rate. Since my MP consumption for my clone is 5 MP that means I have 1 clone every 25 minutes.

The only thing I need to watch out for is my hunger. But if these fellas can bring monster corpses here for them to eat, I can create a stable farming EXP method.

I think I shall increase my clones. My plan to farm some EXP starts now!

To my surprise, all the clones die as they are eating the spider. They only made it halfway. Though it is impressive that they even manage to consume half of it.

"System, can you give me a status report?"

[Answer. The copies died of spider poisoning and organ failure. Though this monster isn't harmful in the right amounts even with a relatively low tolerance]

I somehow understand how tolerance works. It's like a temporary resistance against harmful effects. Though I'm thankful since I don't need to get poisoned from eating monster corpses because my clones can eat them for me, how convenient.

It's thanks to the [All Good, No Bad] skill.

Since I feel full and it's pointless eating this spider I think I need to eat other types of monsters to gain more skills. If I feel more greedy maybe I can even take all the skills in the surrounding area for myself. Hahaha!

For several hours on standby, I manage to create around 27 clones. I have them form a platoon and face me.

Staring at them it looks like we are in a military exercise.

I then act tough in front of them. "Soldiers, our class may have abandoned us because we are weak but I think it's the time we are to prove them wrong. We shall use the system to its maximum potential and raise our levels and power!"

Recalling that Kami bastard, this is all his fault. If he does come down to this world, I will be the one to beat him for having to summon us without our consent.

"I can't have slackers in my ranks, you shall do what's best for me even if you have to die. Hahahaha!"

Huh? Wait a minute. Do I just sound like an evil dictator?

Maybe, I am, but who cares they are just like tools for me to use.

"Are we clear?!"

"Yes sir!" They speak in unison in a monotone voice.

It seems they can talk if I tell them to.

But I sigh. It's no fun talking with these guys.

But this is weird. Why do I feel sad being alone when I am always alone back on earth. Well, who will not get bored in this place?

Anyhow, I need to execute my plan and farm EXP as soon as I can. [Clone Take over!]

I then take over the body of a clone which will act as the commander of my clone ranks. I hide my real body with silks and hang it on the ceiling.

It looks like I'm inside a cocoon, waiting to become a butterfly. In one way, it kinda is.

Not to mention, I have to seal the entrance of the safe zone. I then begin the plan and scout the area.

I split them into three-person for the team, making 9 teams in all.

As expected, this place is like a maze. There are many branching and forking paths. If not for the telepathic connection to my real body I can get lost.

Though there are many dead ends. I even manage to stumble upon a pool of lava. I then take a different path.

I have to keep track of each area where different monsters dwell as well to add more info on Harukawa's diary.

Looks like my clones are encountering monsters as well.

There are many more. I worry if these guys can handle it. I'm sure not all of my clones can land a hit on the various monsters. We are lucky that the spider from earlier is imperceptive.

A few moments later, 6 clones are annihilated. Judging from the time, it is instant. 2 teams are out of the game.

Instead of sneaking, I offered different tactics for the clones. They shall charge without regard to their life as long as they can land a hit.

I then send the message to my clones. I hope they can understand and perform it well.

Several minutes pass and 5 clones die. Though at some point, screens are popping up.

No wonder. I just remembered I'm just borrowing the body of my clone.

In a blink of an eye, my body slices into two. I manage to catch a glimpse of a body of a giant creature.

I wake up back in the safe zone. This is bad. My other 2 clones back there are done for. Looks like we encountered a high-level giant monster and I instantly got killed.

King Chameleon, huh? Do I have a chance of beating it? Well, I have no choice but to try!
