27 Reaching Level 10! (Part 1)

Han didn't know why but for some reason after Caz left, patients started coming to the clinic regularly. He doubted that Caz had to do anything with it. The more shocking news was that Han had his schedule booked for 3 days! He couldn't believe people started to schedule appointments now.

The clinic was open 7 AM- 11 PM, Sophie had decided these hours for him, but he didn't mind since there were barely any patients for him before but now seeing the clinic crowd up a bit, he realized he needed an assistant.

Standing in the middle of the ward, Han tilted his head back and pumped his fist in triumph.

The patient who Han was tending to, looked at his physician weirdly. He had heard rumors of him being weird, but he didn't care and nodded thinking that geniuses are best when weird.

Han was flustered realizing what he was doing in front of the patient. Trying to forget the embarrassment, Han informed his patient of his diagnosis. Though the cause for the embarrassment was a system notification.

[You have Leveled up]

[You have reached level 10]

[Would you like to open the 'System Shop'?]

Yes, after all the continuous hours of treating patients, he had achieved his goal. He couldn't wait for his lunch break and explore the shop. If the system was lying to him about all the spells etc. then he's going…sue the AI!

In the Waiting Area.

A small line was formed in front of the reception. Gen smiled brightly and handed a form to a new patient each time. Although on the outside she was smiling internally she was exhausted she never expected the clinic to gain so many patients overnight. She didn't know what caused this, but she guessed it was better than sitting and doing nothing.

And now she thanked the appointment concept her master came up with. In this situation, it was truly a lifesaver. Currently, Blade was acting as more of a bellboy rather than a gardener but who cared?

Based on the appointments made, Han was getting 7-10 patients per day since the diagnosis didn't take time. He freed the patient quickly and it worked out since he didn't like taking unnecessary breaks.

Han didn't know if it was his old habit, but he couldn't sit still and wanted to treat as many patients as he could. He wanted to keep himself busy, especially since he intended to reach level 10.

Meanwhile in Han's bedroom.

Han sat on his bed with his eyes wide open, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had a system shop panel open and he stared at the items eagerly, the shop contained all kinds of spells ranging from 0-rank spells to 5th-rank spells. It also sold artifacts such as self-defense trinkets. But what caused Han to gasp were the skills.

[MRI Scan Skill: An interface pops up and you can scan the patient similar to an MRI Machine.]

[Cost: 1 Star]

There were similar skills to each machine used in a clinic or a hospital such as ultrasound etc. but there were also a few decorations available for the clinic. Thinking that no simple décor could be in the system shop Han clicked on it.

[Corner Décor: Calm's patients]

Han knew this could help him in his current quest, but that part of the quest was already completed. If he had known this before this could have helped him.

Han continued to scroll down the shop and found amazing things but looking at the prices of each item smacked him back into reality.

The currency used in the shop was stars. Now Han finally knew what those stars were for. He was relieved he didn't let the system deduct them before. But looking at the pitiful number of stars he had, he sighed.

[Stars: 3]

The problem was how to earn them. Previously, Han was able to earn them by doing operations. And it has been quite a while since he had done one. He had only been diagnosing patients or giving them physical check-ups and that didn't earn him a single star though it did help him level up and gain stats.

Speaking of level up's, it had been getting hard for Han to gain more levels. Before when he was level 1, he treated one patient and leveled up but as he started getting close to level 10, he had to treat around 10 patients to gain a single level. For Stats, he didn't know how much of that he had gained after diagnosing the patients, but he knew that there were around 40 stats. He didn't want to use them yet since he didn't find the need for them.

Though Han had kind of been expecting things to get harder as he leveled up since it was similar to games. Other skills which surprised him were the spells. He didn't know what rank 0 or 5th meant but the name of the spells sounded cool.

[Fireball]

[Cost- 5 stars]

[Fire Wheel]

[Cost- 6 stars]

'Seriously, these stars were killing him!', Han thought frustratingly sighing. Groaning he knew he had to work with the 3 stars he had.

"Sophie, tell me about the spells", Han said, he was going to buy spells and that MRI scan skill since it was in his budget, but he wasn't going to buy skills like 'fireball' because they were expensive, and that skill wasn't for an individual like Han who hadn't even unlocked his mana yet.
