Everyone Knows

"Zara, I've come back with the cotton you asked for." Reiner said as he entered the home.

Zara looking excited said "Thank you so much! I can't believe you found some for me!"

"What are you planning on using it for?" Ayan asked.

Zara then took the cotton in her hand and rolled it up into a slender form. "Behold, a tampon!"

Reiner and Ayan looked unimpressed.

"What are you supposed to do with that?" Ayan asked with curiosity.

"Well I'm going to use it for you know.....what's happening on down there." Zara pointed down towards her pelvis with an embarrassed expression on her face.

"Oh is that what that's for? I believe the females around here just use cloth for it." Ayan said.

"Yes, cloth isn't very hygienic, plus cotton is able to hold so much more." Zara explained.

"Hmm." Reiner muttered to himself, he always seemed so uninterested in the things going on around him.

"Where were you able to get this? Can we get more?" Zara asked.

"Zara, I could have come with you myself, why did Reiner have to come as well?" Ayan asked.

Reiner walked along Zara with Ayan on the other side towards the road, he actually insisted on coming with both Ayan and Zara to gather the cotton Zara needed.

"Huh? But he asked to come, and this way we can collect a lot of cotton, because unfortunately I'll be needing a lot more....." Zara sighed.

While walking down the road Zara noticed that she was catching the attention of many other Beastmen, even more so than usual. Just then a brave young male decided to come up to Zara with some fruits in his hand.

"Please accept these both these and myself! I offer a contract to you my fair female!" The young man shouted out.

Just then he noticed both Ayan and Reiner who had an evil glare in their eyes, any second now and they were going to transform into their Beastman form and likely kill this brave but naive young man.

"Um um um........my apologies female!" And the young male quickly ran off in the opposite direction.

"Um, did anyone else find that weird?" Zara asked.

"This is exactly why I tagged along." Reiner chimed in.

"I could have protected her all by myself bird brain." Ayan said towards Reiner.

"Can someone explain?" Zara asked with a confused look.

"The male came up to offer you fruits and a contract, being offered fruits is almost kind of an offering towards a female for a fruitful year." Reiner explained.

Zara stood there not really understanding what Reiner was trying to explain.

"In other words, the males know you're in heat, so as an opportunity they'll offer themselves to the female."

"Eh.....ahhhhhhhhhh!" Zara could feel her ears heating up, "so everyone knows?!"

Both Reiner and Ayan nodded their heads.

Zara came to her knees and muttered to herself, "This is it for me mother, your young virgin daughter is about to die from embarrassment. Please wait for me, I'm headed there now."

"Will you get up? You're going to attract more unwanted attention." Reiner said.

Zara looked up at Reiner with a teary look in her eyes, "Reiner..."

"I can't tell who's more childish, you or that mutt." Reiner then put his hand under Zara's bottom and legs and held her in his arms.

He turned around to Ayan, " Let's get going."
