Synopsis

The world went to ruin at the start of the 22nd century when the aliens, dubbed Otherworlders attacked the Earth. Different alien races that seem to have developed an interest in Earth and want to claim it for themselves. This led to a chain of wars between the invading aliens with the humans caught in the middle of it trying to defend Earth. It was a difficult time for the human race as the war was one-sided, favouring the outworlders who are superior in terms of strength and technology. Their presence led to the occurrence of unnatural phenomenons which further doomed the Earth like the appearance of dungeons and beasts, but in their desperation to survive, humans awakened abilities and discovered strength which gave them a fighting chance in the war, and access to use and improve on the technology gotten from these aliens, ushering in the New Age. The age of abilities and technological advancement for the human race. In the world of abilities and technology where everything is determined by strength or wealth, Ian Yaeger is a sixteen years old boy with a sickly medical condition which causes him to faint at random times in the day. I was told that it was an unspoken rule to leave an author's review of one's book so here is mine. I apologise that it came late. This book as stated in the title is based on a system which would help the MC grow from his weak self to a stronger version. I can't stress this enough, but the system isn't a cheat that would help the MC become overpowered without effort. The system's significance will be explained in later chapters and there are some hints in the present chapters if you can find them. The MC is, as usual, a weak and bullied individual who wouldn't put his head down and desires strength to protect himself from those situations and actively searches for it, which would lead him on a hard, long and tumultuous journey for strength. The MC doesn't essentially have a hero complex but he isn't a villain either. His attitude usually adjusts to the environment he finds himself but he isn't someone to take a bow when he is oppressed. He acts only for his benefit or personal reasons. He is intelligent and calculative and that can also be seen in his fights. The MC doesn't get the system in the first five chapters since I would want readers to understand the MC's mindset as a weakling. The world-building is slow at first as I would try to introduce a few key characters, but it grows in the later chapters and I can assure you that it is a very expansive world that transcends Earth. The story development is steady. It might be a little slow at first but trust me, it isn't. I'll be developing the story at a very steady rate so please bear with me. My writing would be up to your decision, but I can assure you that it isn't bad and you would rarely find inconsistencies or grammatical errors. Do point it out whenever you see one. The book also isn't focused only on the MC and I would also love to immerse you in the world of the side characters. I'll try my best to avoid plot holes, and if you discover any inconsistencies, be patient, because they will be explained in other chapters. I'll be giving it five stars because it's mine and I hope you would find it worthy too. Finally, this might have been inspired by a few other books on webnovel, but this is my original concept and I would appreciate it if you don't consider any similarities with other books a copy or plagiarism. Thanks a lot for reading. I really appreciate it.
