The passing of my days

That day like any other I was reading a few novels of various genres and passing my time. I was daydreaming of being able to use Magic, ride on Magic Beasts, live on top of a Floating mountain, Eat the best Spirit fruits, and many more.

But, life goes on. We have been affected by the pandemic, have faced the lockdown.

Though there are vaccines now, not sure how effective they are...many who took the vaccine have been facing different side effects. But doctors and others say these side effects are common.

The latest news is that it will take a few days to 2 weeks or more to grow antibodies against that virus.

Meanwhile, I have joined an internship to improve my skills and attending webinars while reading my choice of novels.

We don't realize many important things until we lose them.

It sounds like a quote and it truly is a quote that I have been listening to and reading in many novels and daily life or movies etc.

But do you realize many things have already been lost and we are going to lose many more...

Like many other 'Normal' things we see every day slowly disappear...like the clear blue sky we see above whenever we lift our heads(if you are outside or on the terrace or standing by the window).

Now see it as the days pass and as it is covered in SMOG (SMOKE + FOG).

The place you are now in may not be covered in Smog but look at the surrounding...like me who is in a place surrounded by mountains and sea on one side.

A few miles or Km away I would be seeing Mountains all the time...but they are now covered and not visible now due to smog.

During the lockdown, we might have noticed fresh air and clear sky...but now again all are covered by smog.

Some said they could see Mt. Everest when they were small kids(as they grew up it also became invisible due to smog) and after lockdown, they were able to see it again...but now it too is being again covered in smog as time passes.

Look around and see how much distance and distant objects could you see and compare it with that during Lockdown...You will know the difference.

All talk and celebrate Environment Day but are we doing anything to protect our environment?

The answer is obviously 'NO'.

Maybe not even 1% of the total Population cares about the environment.

Because they either care about their stuff such as their own needs(food, shelter, clothing, money, appliances, etc.).

Many are truly too poor to care about the environment, they need to take care of their and their family food, etc. So how can they care about anything else?

Well back to the topic of Smog, What I see is now many cities that are covered by Smog all year round.

And as this continues there will be a planet completely covered by Smog.

There are already many Ozone layer holes.

Ozone layer holes mean that the Harmful rays(Sun rays are divided into many kinds of rays and UV and others are harmful to all life) of the Sun will fall directly on Earth.

Earth's land starts heating up, desert areas keep increasing, Land losses the moisture content and slowly becomes infertile for plant growth, and Icecaps at the poles are melting.

Glaciers and other snow-covered mountains also melt.

As a result, Sea levels will keep on rising.

Many low-height areas(those areas which are very near to sea level) will be first to be submerged like the so-called Atlantics at the bottom of the sea.

Harmful rays of Sun also cause problems like Skin cancer, Sunstrokes, inflammation, and their problems.

Lakes dry up, animals in Forests have already been coming out of Forest for the lack of water and food.

Bears, Tigers, Alligators, cheetahs, Snakes, and Elephants, etc. have been sighted and also causing a lot of trouble, even loss of lives has been reported.

Now think of a Planet with the clear blue sky covered up by Smog(which means no light from sun or moon, no clean air to breath, as lack of sunlight plants keep dying so lack of food), Flooding rivers, Earthquakes and landslides, Flash floods, flooding of Seawater, tornadoes.

And on top of all these continental shifts...

This is what happens but I don't want this to happen...

I would have spent my days doing a job and reading a few novels in my free time...but the Planet is heading to inevitable destruction and of course extinction of Humans.

Humans have invented many things and even created a way for their extinction.

How foolish, ignorant, careless, causing self-harm.
