Chapter 82

Rrrriinng....

The sound of the phone ringing made Robbie woke up with a throbbing headache. A deep groan could be heard from inside the covers as Robbie's hand came out to grab the object that disturbed his deep slumber. Whatever this call was about, he sure wanted to smash his phone into pieces as its sound irritated him like bells clanging in his ear simultaneously. 

"Hello," he answered, irritatedly as soon as he was able to grab it from the bedside table. "Who's this?"

"Robbie, it's Tonette," the voice answered on the other line. "Are you up?"

"What kind of a question is that? You can hear me talking, right?" he snapped. 

"S-Sorry, I know it might not be the best time but-"

"Spill it, Tonette!" he growled as his patience died in a second. He knew it was unfair to lash out on her but right now with a throbbing headache, he was not in the mood for a small chat. "I'm sorry. I am having a terrible headache right now."
