No! This can't be! Robbie battled within his mind.

He picked up the ring from the stairs and held it in his hands. The diamond pricked his palm but he didn't care. He needed to get to her... prove to her that he didn't cheat on her.

Especially not with Kenneth. 

"Alex, wait! Please... listen to me, please," as he followed after her. He could hear her stilletos tapping loudly on the shiny floor of the hotel as they reached the bottom of the stairs. People stared at them as Alex walked out of the building followed by Robbie. 

"Alex, please.. let's talk," he begged. He knew he looked like a fool but he didn't care. He loved her so much that he won't let her leave again. 

"There is nothing to talk about, Robbie," she yelled back at him, without turning her head. She continued walking briskly, desperate to go further away from him.
