Chapter 125 Sly As A Fox

A click from a metal resounded inside the empty mansion as a a contented smile formed on Kenneth's lips. He pressed the gun more behind Roger's back as his partner raised his hands in the air, dropping his satchel on the cold floor.

"So, do you like my gift?" he asked, moving closer to whisper in Roger's ear.

Roger closed his eyes for a moment as he pursed his lips. This was not the first time he had ever encountered a gun and yet, when it was pointed at him, anyone would feel the same as him. He suddenly remembered Tonette. He had promised her he would come back once everything was done and he could not let Kenneth kill him now.

Not yet.

So he tried to overcome his fear and showed Kenneth that he was not affected by this. He took a deep breath and plastering a smirk on his face, he decided to challenge his partner. It was a bold move and he hoped his partner would take it.
