78 Seperated and lost

Arina stood up from the ground and wiped the sand off her eyes. She looked around her and realized she was on the island they were heading to.

"But when did I..." She stopped her thoughts when a pang of pain ran through her head before recollecting events of what happened.

"That's right! The Ships Crashed!" Arina remembered finally. "But what could have caused it to crash and something strong enough that three of the Great Five couldn't handle."

Arina began to walk forward in the direction deeper into the island in hopes of finding other people. She took a single step before turning around after hearing a sound.

Sand on the ground dissipated to reveal a girl who stood up from it. She had blonde hair full of sand and she was in a bad move.

"Oh, Staria. I didn't see you there." Arina helped the girl up but she didn't take her hand. Instead, she stood up herself and began to dust off her skirt.

"Of course you didn't. Because everything's about you." "What?" "Nevermind. Let's just find everyone." After dusting all the sand she could get off her, the two girls moved deeper into the island.

Meanwhile, three other people had also regained conscious and were now on the move looking for other people as well. Two walked at the front while one stayed a few steps behind.

"Oh, come on." Luz whined as she was annoyed. Her, Serena and Kuro had found each other but Luz didn't like that she said they wouldn't be seperated but that was exactly what happened.

Serena chuckled at Luz' behaviour. "Let's just continue looking for the others but let's be careful. I have a feeling the Leaders didn't just follow us on our expedition for fun."

"She's right. Someone had to have caused our ships to crash." Kuro added while tightening his grip on his jacket, the same one Yuri had given him.

Luz nodded and the three of them activated their Charms. 'I hope everyone's fine.'

Arina and Staria journeyed deeper into the island, eventually arriving at an open grassland area with a few trees. During their travel, Arina noticed that Staria would sometimes stop at certain flowers and harvest them.

'I guess its because she's in Potion Class.' Arina thought as they kept moving.

As they moved, they had seen snakes, wild Drachs of low levels and some cool monuments but hadn't found anyone yet. Arina had thought about using the Light Board to fly into the air but that would be a bad idea. She would be out in the open and be an easy target for whoever or whatever crashed the ships.

After walking for more than a mile, Arina could see figures moving around. She wanted to call them over but then stopped as she could see them better. They were wearing strange golden armor that looked like it was designed in the old days based on their crudeness but that wasn't the most distinguishing feature on these people.

"Fina..." Arina covered Staria's mouth and ducked down behind a bush.

The people in armor turned around and looked at the bush for a second but then turned away and began moving forward in the opposite direction.

Staria removed the Light Caster's hand from her mouth.

"What is it?" "Look." Arina pointed to their backs.

Staria squinted her eyes and shifted her neck and finally saw it.

"Tails." They had tails of different colors but only one race was known in history to have tails.

"They're Demons!" Staria said a bit too loud and it got the Demons attention. Arina facepalmed herself and activated her Charm, getting ready for a fight.

Serena, Luz and Kuro searched through the Island while staying cautious and eventually saw someone in an awkward position.

"Guys! Could you get me from up here?! I've been stuck up here since the ships crashed!" Ayato spoke as he was dangling on a tree with a strong vine holding onto one of his legs. His body was held upside down and he felt embarrassed that he was in such a position.

"Hehe.." Luz chuckled to herself.

Kuro was ready to help him but Serena stopped him first. "How do we know its really you? What If you're the one who crashed the ships in the first place and using some transformation Spell?!" She questioned.

Ayato sighed and his face was a bit red before saying. "Because..."

"Because what?" Serena asked again, gesturing for the others to take a step back.

"Because a monkey stole my Charm and left it on the ground." Ayato pointed to his pair of gloves on the floor. Luz walked over to it and picked it up and after inspecting it, she was sure it was the real thing and let Serena know.

Serena nodded to Kuro and he began to cast a Spell.

"Snow Casting: Ice Shard!" Ice gathered around Kuro's arm and formed the shape of a blade. He jumped high in the air and cut the vine cleanly off.

Ayato fell down but landed safely on the ground before Luz handed him his gloves.

"Sorry bout that... I'm just being cautious, you know?" "Of course."

Ayato understood the Mech Caster. "Welp, let's find Yuri, Arina and the others before the ones who crashed our ships do." Ayato said and the four of them continued their search.

Arina grabbed one of the Demon's arm by their arms and twisted it before performing a backflip and shooting out her Ray Blast attack that brought him down to the ground but two more came towards her.

"I told you not to make a sound." Arina tried punching the two coming at her with her Halo Fist but her hands had been tied back by a Demon. The two Demons then formed a large fireball and threw it at her but Arina closed her eyes and became intangible, getting out of the Demon's grasp and causing him to get hit instead of her.

"Well I'm sorry for being a burden on you." Staria replied sarcastically. A Demon threw a kick at her but she ducked before pulling out a pink potion in the form of a spray can and sprayed the Demon with it before moving away from him.

The Demon tried running towards her but he realized his movements were slowed down.

'It really worked just like I remember. Thank you, Miss. Zina.' Staria thought in her head before attacking the Demon.

"Mime Casting: Fake Slice!" Staria shot out the diagonal attack that sent the Demon down.

Another Demon who had bat wings was flying in the air and was sending out fire balls towards the two. Arina reacted quickly by creating her Light Board and hovered into the air.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Arina shot light beams but the Demon avoided them before opening his mouth and releasing a fire ball from it.

Luckily, Arina wasn't the only person on the Light Board as Staria was with her too.

"Mime Casting: Fake Wall!" The invisible wall was formed in front of the two girls as they hovered in the sky but it looked like the fire breath was going to break through it.

"It's not gonna hold." "Yes, It is." Arina held onto Staria's hand and she began to use the Strengthen Spell on her, making her attack powerful enough to completely block the attack.

'How did she do that?' Staria thought. Initially, Staria thought that Arina was selfish and only had friends because of her nice personality but now she realized. 'She's a good person.'

*Boom

The fire breath caused a huge explosion that barely did anything to weaken the Demon that was still in the air. 'It must be their armor. It has to be a high grade one.'

"Light Casting: Sceptre of the Heavens!" Arina formed the sceptre and shot off the blast at point blank range. It was enough to send the Demon to the ground and they hovered down to the ground as well.

"You're actually an awesome person!" "Huh? Did you say something Staria?" "Nothing."

Unfortunately, all they had been able to do was stop them temporarily. The Demons they had previously defeated stood back up again.

"Are you kidding me?" The two girls thought.
