Part 30: Innocent Little Sister

"Adey,"

My eyes flew to the door, then to my window. My heart was strongly pounding against my ribs.

"Why's your door locked?"

I looked back to the door, glad I had locked it earlier. "I... I..."

"Are you doing something illegal inside there?"

"No," I denied rather fast. "I was just... I wanted to stay here alone. All by myself. Without anyone from outside..." Outside? What was I talking about? "Or anywhere else."But my words didn't make any sense.

I squeezed my eyes shut and said instead, "I wanted to recover the memories I lost as a kid without external interruptions from you. That's why I..." My eyes snapped open as a pair of arms snaked around my waist.

"I decided to... to lock the door. So you don't enter."

I felt his breath warm the side of my neck.

I heard Devyn chuckle and say, "Silly. I'll be out for some time. And good luck with your memory retrieval thing."

"You too. I mean alright." I said and waited for some time before releasing my breath and scrambling free from the arms that bound me. "What are you doing?" I whispered.

Ash smiled smugly. "Creating closure with my girlfriend."

"Are you crazy? He could have known you're here and..."

"I don't care." He smoothed back his hair and brought his face down to mine. "Are you going to keep us secret forever?"

"I..." I shook my head to clear my clouded thoughts, still keeping my voice hushed. "No, but still doesn't mean you should be sneaking up here any time you please behind my brother's back."

"Would you rather I walked through the door into the room where you were playing chicken love with your brother to say hi?" Ash winked.

"No... that's not what I meant." I let out a deep breath through my mouth. "I have an 'innocent little sister' title to protect, ouk?"

"Beautiful. We both know you don't deserve that title."

"Whatever, I am innocent and I am little."

"You left out the sister part." Ash told me and I waved him away.

"I'm not even supposed to be talking to you." I took a step away.

"What? Your brother told you not to talk to boys that unknowingly sneak in to your bedroom?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"He doesn't know you... You are a wanted face on every media platform."

"Oh that." He quietly said. He looked down at me. "Are you disappointed in me now?"

"What? No. Yes... I mean, not for the reason you have in mind." I swallowed.

"Why then?" Ash asked without moving, his facial expression unreadable.

"I... you left me in bed without saying bye."

Ash was frozen for a while before sounds of laughter filled my room. "What the fuck Princessah... Damn you're unbelievable."

"No really," I insisted. He clearly didn't understand. "You knew you were going to do something bad. You could have gotten injured or needed to stay in hiding for a long time. What was I going to be thinking that whole duration not even knowing how you looked when you left the last time..."

He cut me off with a hard bruising kiss, forcing little moans of pleasure out of me. I gripped his shoulders tightly as he kissed me harder. I had forgotten how kisses could mess with one's head and literally sweep a person of their feet.

My knees gave away and his huge arms kept me from slipping to the ground by holding me securely against himself.

I reveled in the way his muscles felt solid against my petite body, his heart beat creating a powerful rhythm against the side of my head. It was only after I cleared my head to fully enjoy the warmth of his body when I noticed how painfully squashed my little body was.

"Ash you're hurting me."

"I'm sorry." He quickly let go of me and I was overcame by a feeling of loneliness in the absence of his form against mine. I hugged him to myself.

Ash placed his hands on my shoulders and held me at a distance. "I swear, I'd never leave you alone, alright? Not even to go in hiding. You're my safest place in this world, there is nowhere else to go."

I smiled at him and nodded. He was such an adorable ugly attractive bad best person in the world.

"Also, I'd never put myself in danger. Especially not after knowing I have a scared baby bitch waiting on me at home."

I frowned and he smiled before he squashed my body against his again.

Instead of complaining about the pain, I hugged him back. He was just a bad boyfriend, alright.

"Your reaction was way cuter than I had expected." Ash said. "Beats you throwing a fit and screaming at me for carrying out a robbery."

I turned my face and bit into his flesh.

"Ouch!" He said and lowered his head to bite at my ear. I yelped and he whispered. "If you bite me again, I'll always bite you back."

"You're a bully." I told him.

"Not a bully, just a normal person with feelings like you." He smirked. "Come on, I'm starving. Let's make me some food."

"Do you know how to cook?" I asked him.

"If I did, I wouldn't be having fast food filling my fridge." Ash smiled. "But my little girl will prepare some for me, won't she?"

"What do you take me as? Your wife?"

"No, just my bitch for life."

I rolled my eyes at him as I was dragged towards the kitchen. I was clearly not getting an option.

"By the way, what does your brother do for a living?" Ash suddenly asked.

"I don't know... Something to do with pharmaceuticals. PLR something." I shrugged.

"Is his company that big and famous?"

I turned to Ash. "Well... Nope... I doubt. Most people don't know it exists."

"I thought so too." Ash said. "And your parents didn't leave you anything significant anyway. Do you really think his baby company is responsible for all his wealth?"

"What do you mean?" I stopped what I was doing.

"Don't you think he does something else that makes him the wealthiest young business tycoon in town?"

"Huh?" I frowned.

"You never thought of it?" He tilted his head.

"Do you know something?" I asked but he only smiled at me. Was my brother having a side hustle? "Nothing is wrong with having a side hustle."

"You're right. But the type of side hustle can make it illegal."

"Illegal?" I shook my head and turned back to the food I was busy with. Whatever was he talking about...

I'm just glad you are still with me. Your silence mean a lot to me. Read on!
