Part 11: Before coming here

"You didn't tell me you were coming."

I walked through the doors without waiting for an invite. "I forgot to tell you."

"Wait," Javier closed the door and followed me in. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm... I'm fine." I took my seat on the couch.

Javier sat next to me. "Hey," He forced me to look into his eyes. "What's wrong?"

I forced a smile on my face. "Nothing. Really." Really though, nothing was wrong with me. I had just woken up in a foul mood. Yet, I suspected it had everything to do with Eve's Garden.

The day before, before finishing the drink from Dave my brother had received a phone call and a couple of minutes later, he had led me out of the place.

"I thought you said you'd show me another side of this place." I had said to him.

"I will. Some other time." He had replied. "I received an important call from work."

"Go right ahead then. I'll stay with Dave and..."

He had tightly grabbed my hand such that it hurt. "Addison..." his voice was deeper than I had ever heard and his blue eyes had darkened, matching the color of the ocean under the new moon.

It was as though a different and opposite persona had taken over his body.

But that hadn't lasted a minute, in no time his eyes had retained their playful glint and he was smirking again. His grip on me had loosened too. "I'm sorry. Hey, you should see your face, you look mugged."

"I might as well be mugged." I had rubbed at my wrist and started walking off. Something was not right with him. He had appeared... Frightened?

"Adey," Devyn walked after me. "I don't have a problem with whoever you flirt with."

I had glared at him. His earlier reaction clearly said otherwise.

"Not like that... I mean, I kinda do. I wouldn't want you hooking up with some bad boys or players... I mean I don't have anything against Dave. I know him and apart from him hooking up with every pretty face he lays his eyes on, he's a pretty nice guy." Devyn had said. "It's just..."

"I could tell he was struggling to choose his next words to me. "It's just it's your first time here and we don't know about his later plans and it's getting late... You can come here any time and any hour, just make sure you can be well on your own. Okay?"

"It never crossed my mind that Eve's Garden, with a person like Dave around, could be dangerous." I had said, realizing that I had place him in a tough spot with my response to his earlier behavior.

"You never know, Dave could be the danger." He had immediately picked on my lame attempt at humor.

"Typical brother." I had quipped.

"Typical brothers don't take their sisters on dates."

"Adey,"

I blinked my eyes at Javier and realized he had been calling me for some time.

"Did anything happen..."

"Nothing. I guess I've been thinking so much about what happened last time and..."

"No, hun, listen to me." He cupped my face in his hands. "What happened last time was not your fault and I'm actually glad it happened. It made me realize what an asshole I have been and that somehow, I had always been hoping you'd fuck with me but that shouldn't be."

I watched as he blabbered on. He was suddenly the adorable cute guy who owned the voice that made me fall for him.

"I've come to see that all this time, we haven't been sleeping together but you still made me the happiest. The cuddles and snuggles, unwanted kisses, the surprise visits like now the cute face and little body and pig height..."

"Pig height?" My eyebrows bolted up in surprise. "Come on." I laughed and he laughed along too.

"Think about it, a simple giggle from you can make my day..." He went silent as though he had just received a sudden revelation. "Crap, I sound like a mad novelist now. Point is, I'm not going to ask for sex anymore. I don't need it. We already have everything beautiful and we don't need sex to..."

I cut him off with my lips on his. He was frozen in surprise but within a couple of seconds he was starting to kiss me back. Before he could fully get a grip on my lips, I pulled away from him. He opened his mouth, I knew, to protest and I touched my finger to his lips to silence him. He squeezed his eyes shut.

"But I'm horny now."

Javier jumped back, his eyes snapping open. "What?"

His reaction made me smile. "I want sex. With you."

"Come on, you don't have to do... look, forget what I said that..."

"Honestly." I said and he scanned my eyes with utmost scrutiny. "I was... before coming here... I think that's why I forgot to text you first. I was... I..."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath which I slowly released. "I was watching porn."
