Lie

"What??", Diana screamed in shock.

"Aiyaa~", Ryu closed his eyes with his little chubby finger in his ears so that he can save his ears from his mother's screaming.

"Mom....what...?", He couldn't finish his sentence when he heard his mother again.

"Why didn't you tell me that Dan is hiding his real identity from Era?" Diana asked Ryu.

They are now sitting in their car. After spending some time with Era, they decided to go to their own works. So bidding goodbye, Ryu took Diana secretly to their car. After coming back to their car, then Ryu told Diana everything that why he was lying to Era. And hearing that Diana was quite a little shocked.

"And for uncle Dan, l had to act like a normal kid," Ryu said with a proud face.

"But why did he do that?" It seems that Diana totally ignored what her son was saying and was in her own thinking. Diana is thinking very hard because she never ever thought that her brother can do something like that even for a girl.

So without any further a do, Diana ordered her driver to go to the Makenzi main mention because whatever is happening, she has to discuss it with her squad. Ryu didn't say a word from them when her mother was talking. Because inside he was happy that he did not have to go to school today. He can skip school. So in his mind, he was thanking Era for that.

"Grandma, great grandma l am here," Ryu ran towards the two ladies who were sitting in the garden.

Then he went to them and hugged them one by one.

"Oh, my great-grandson, you have come here to meet your great-grandmother, what a nice boy you are," Great-grandma said.

"No mother, you are mistaken. He is my grandson. He has come here to meet me." Suddenly Maya said this to her while hugging him.

Grandma Mak grimaced her face hearing her daughter-in-law, "by the way, what are you doing here? Don't you have school today?"

"Mom took me here," Ryu said while pointing toward the door where Diana was entering now.

"Diana, what are you doing here ?" Maya said.

"Mom, Grandma, did you hear the news?" Diana asked in excitement.

"What news?" both mother-in-law and daughter-in-law asked at the same time.

"Here they go again," Ryu said while shaking his head and then leaving a deep sigh," then I'll go and ask for some snacks from the grand butler."

Saying that Ryu left the three ladies to continue with their gossip. Though he has just eaten a large burger but still thinking of food he became happy and ran into the house.

"Huh~", Era left a deep sign because she was super nervous. It is her first time working for a big company. Also for the company where Daniel also works in. So she has to give hundred and ten percent so that not only Daniel but also Mr. Parker feel proud of her.

so after thinking for quite a little time, she entered the company and looking forward she found a familiar figure standing there while looking at her.

"Daniel, what are you doing here?", Era was not expecting Daniel to be there.

"Waiting for you," Daniel replied.

"Waiting for me? Did you know that l was coming here now?", Era asked in shock.

Daniel smiled, "Actually no. l was just passing by the corridor and saw you coming here. So l stopped by here to welcome you."

Daniel lied. Ryu has already told his uncle Dan that aunty Era was going to come to the office today. So he was prepared and was waiting for her to pick her up.

"Let's go. Let me take you to the managing department. You have to introduce yourself to them because most of the time you have to work with that department. "Daniel said while taking her to the place.

"Ok, let's go." Era replied.

After that Daniel took Era to the managing department where Zacky has already talked to everyone to cooperate with Daniel and not to tell anyone that Daniel is the main boss there. Because Daniel wants to work as a normal assistant and see how the employees work. So no one should ever mansion that, especially in front of the worker who is working on the new project.

Daniel opened the door of the department to let Era in. Everyone flinched hearing his sound. Even if they were prepared that Daniel was coming but they don't know why they got scared every time they heard even Daniel's name.

"Good morning Mr. Manager."Everyone stand up and bowed hearing both of them coming. Daniel frowned,' why did they stand up and bowed?'

Even though Zacky has told them that Daniel will be working with them normally, so they don't have to act like they used to do in front of him for some days, still they got scared to see their boss. Because they can not even effort to disappoint him for a little bit.

Era paused seeing their move.

"Please come in." One of the male employees was giving an extra treatment thinking what if the boss gets happy and gives him a promotion?

But just how he was giving extra treatment to them l don't think he can even save his job.

Daniel just gave a small smile to Era and told her to go in. Then he looked at them with narrow eyes and everyone just stopped acting like that and started behaving normally.

Then Daniel cleared his throat and said to everyone," Guys, this is Era Steve, the illustrator of our new hotel project. From now on she is gonna work here with you for some days. So hope you guys will take care of her nicely."

After hearing Daniel everyone was about to give Era a bow but when Daniel again hive them a daring look so they didn't do it but also got very sensitive to Era's issue.

"Nice to meet you, everyone, l am Era Steve." Era said this with a little smile and gave them a bow.

Seeing Era to bow, everyone was confused at first that what should they do. So they looked at Daniel to see his reaction. But Daniel was looking very proud watching Era do this. So everyone smiled watching Daniel and also greeted Era back.

Then Daniel took Era to her desk where she is gonna work for some days." This is your table. And if you need anything else just call me, okay,?" Daniel said this with a smile.

"Okay," Era smiled back at him while sitting on her chair.

Everyone was still there and looked at them They can't believe their own eyes if is it there that aloof boss whom they were all afraid of.

Daniel then went out of there as he could not take their reactions anymore. And also he has his work to do as well.

After Daniel left, some employees came to her to talk and some were keeping their distance from her as they don't want to lose their jobs.

"Hi, my name is Ashley."A girl employee came and introduced herself.

"And my name is Futo. Nice to meet you," A boy employee came and said.

"Futo?" Era become amazed hearing that name.

"Weird, right? My parents gave that name to me." Futo said with a weird smile.

"Nice to meet you." Era said to them.

"l saw your design Ms.Era and l must say it was mind-blowing. " Futo started to butter Era already.Futo was the one who was talking extra in front of Daniel at that time.

"Thank you. But you can call me only Era as we are employees and going to work together. " Era said with a sweet smile.

Ashley and Futo looked at each other after hearing her. Because of what they have thought, Era is totally the opposite.

Actually, when Zacky came and told them that a new illustrator was gonna come and for that their boss, Richard Parker will work with them, they thought she and their boss have a connection. So they thought Era to be very moody and arrogant just like their boss. But what they are seeing was totally opposite of what they had thought. She is totally an innocent girl.
