33 Chapter 33: The Gathering

Greg rubbed his arms while waiting for the Young Master. He stood outside Halora's house by himself while Sebastian sneaked inside and opened the door.

He looked throughout the nearby houses found in the area. It was one of the Young Master father's reminders before they went into the place.

He has been standing for a couple of minutes until they noticed the door wide opened. Sebastian called him and told Greg to carry the sleeping young woman in the passenger's seat.

"Hurry up! She's living alone but we need still to be careful...,"

"Alone? For how many years?" spoke Greg while walking through the stairs. "Young Master, the door!"

He reminded him to lock the main door before someone noticed them. It was quarter to seven yet, they were inside Halora's simple house.

"Got it!" Sebastian replied upon locking the door. He then magically appeared in her room and helped Greg to put her down to bed.

He put his index finger on his lips and whispered, "Sl--slowly, we must not disturb her, or she will ask hundreds of questions!"

Gently and surely, Halora slept in her small, simple bed. Greg took a deep breath as he succeeded while the Young Master stared at her for a moment.

"Give me a little time, Greg. I have something to write before leaving!"

"As you say so, Young Master! I'll just wait for you in the car, and I'm expecting you to go out before the anticipated time."

Sebastian nodded his head. He then slowly jumped off the bed and searched for a piece of paper in the drawer around the room.

He was amazed at the butterfly portraits inside of the place. She loved butterflies since she was three, and it was an obvious truth as he looked at her picture with a colorful butterfly on her palm.

"Sleep well, Halora. You looked tired, but I'll see you tomorrow morning." He put the piece of paper on the side table and closed the door silently.

He then looked at the wall clock in the living area and it was seven in the evening. He gasped, "Grandpa will scold me all over again, huh."

Sebastian hurriedly locked the door. He ran into the black car in front of him but stopped and stared at the windows for the moment.

Greg opened the window and called the Young Master. His father had been calling and was looking for his beloved son. "Young Master, everyone is waiting for you and your father called me just by now."

"Let's go! Tell them that we stopped at the gas station." He quickly turned around and opened the door without uttering a single word.

He seated beside Greg and took out his cellphone from his pocket. He knew his father had been calling him but he ignored it.

Sebastian smirked while reading some messages from his inbox. He giggled, hit the dashboard with his feet.

"What about the females, are they invited to the gathering?" spoke Sebastian while looking at Greg.

He wanted to talk with Zenith about what happened earlier and why she was with Halora. Many things had changed his life, not just Hermione, but he felt the same way too.

"Greg, did you ever feel like being greatly attached to someone who's just an ordinary young girl?"

He asked him seriously but he only heard a burst of mischievous laughter. Greg laughed so hard but he knew, he needed to stop. "Why? I mean, w--why did you suddenly ask about it?"

Greg looked at him for a moment but his Young Master stared at the road silently. They were near the hideaway, yet, his question was left unanswered.

"Are you falling in love with her, aren't you?"

"I... I don't know exactly too! I... I hate her for being weak and too kind towards other people but there was a part of me that day which urged me to help her!"

Sebastian threw the phone into the dashboard and opened the windows. He leaned his right arm and breathed heavily.

"There's something powerful within her, Young Master. You can't just trust anyone even that girl you are talking about. And one more thing, you are the alpha of the last pack that is still alive!"

"I know that! That's why I've been avoiding her this past few days but I never thought Zenith would bring her to the mansion."

Sebastian was eager to know the reason why he saw Halora with his cousin.

He only yearned for a piece of mind but the more he tried to ignore her, the more likely they met each other for some reason.

Greg shook his head in despair. If only he has the right to stop the Young Master from seeing Halora, he could have done it for his own sake too.

However, as they saw the skull signage on the road, Greg shrugged his shoulders. "We're here. It's better to leave that girl alone, for everyone's safety."

Greg gave a signal by turning on the headlights. They stopped in front of a tall, tough gate made up of steep and metals. Until two men opened the gate and let them in.

Sebastian looked throughout the place. It's been a while since he stepped into the werewolves' secret hideout. It was surrounded by indestructible bricks and steel which was built when he was still in his mother's womb.

"Good evening, Young Master! Everyone is waiting for you especially, Lord Stevenson." One of them greeted Sebastian with a piece of news.

Greg slammed the door and looked at the man angrily. He said, "We just arrived at the place. Instead of pestering us, why don't you look around the place and see to it that no one else can find us here?"

"It's fine, just let them stay with us. For sure, hunters are fostering around the forest, searching for wild boars and wolves!"

Sebastian told him coldly enough to scare all of them. "Y--Yes, Young Master!" They bowed and walked back into the parking area. They were assigned to investigate each vehicle that had entered into the place for their benefits too.

Greg looked at them with his usual stare. He then smirked and silently followed Sebastian into the wide, crowded hall.

"I'll teach them a lesson when I have the chance...," Greg murmured and forgot that Young Master stopped walking until his face dumped into Sebastian's broad back.

Little did he know, everyone was waiting for the Alpha and all of the attention was solely on him.
