93 Chapter 93. Dad?

MELODY'S POV

I don't know why but I think Seth might have completely misunderstood the situation. My eyes felt gritty and hot.

"I thought you said you're just going to stretch your legs a bit and explore Mainesville?"

Seth crowed in suspicion. He wasn't trying to limit my movements, he was just worried. I didn't really know my way around and I'd successfully gotten rid of Chandler who he'd assigned to keep tabs on me.

I left at ten in the morning and returned at almost midnight. His schedule at the cabinet and courthouse is always hectic but he waltzed in quarter passed ten to meet a cold bedroom.

"I went shopping and even I picked out some baby clothes."

"Again?"

Seth chuckled while unwrapping a few boxes and checking out the little polka dotted playsuits. Some burb clothes and bibs, footies and rattling toys. Their little bundle of joy had to stay in the hospital for the next twenty-four hours for final check-ups against the naming ceremony.
