275 Chapter 275

Zheng Nan, the man who loved her mother Yang Ling Ling was standing in front of Zhao Zi Yun with a gun pointed towards her. It took some time before Zhao Zi Yun finally understood what was happening in front of her. Zheng Nan was the one who killed her siblings and the same man who had showered her with gifts for some time now was ready and waiting to kill her too.

In the past and present, the Meng family was the prominent one in the underworld and had killed several people along with their families. Zheng Nan's father had tried to start a revolt against Meng Xuan Li's father to take over the leader position. In that fight, while all the subordinates of Zheng Nan's father had been killed, he escaped along with his family and went into hiding with his family. This had happened when Meng Xuan Li was young but still she knew the happenings in the gang. The Meng family had tried hard to find Zheng Nan's family but had been unsuccessful for a long time.

When Zheng Nan family's hiding place was found out, Meng Xuan Li's father had sent her on a killing spree and she had killed the entire family. Zheng Nan had survived because he was not home at that time but had watched Meng Xuan Li leaving his place when he arrived home. When he entered his house, he saw the dead bodies of his entire family and that is when he made up his mind; he would not rest until Meng Xuan Li was in the same agony and pain as him.

Zheng Nan had made it his life's mission to ruin Meng Xuan Li. When Yang Ling came into his life, he was slowly starting to forget his revenge but when she married Li Shu Chen, again his entire focus was on destroying Meng Xuan Li. So when he heard that Meng Xuan Li was pregnant, all he wanted to do was kill her child and make her suffer. He made plans meticulously and executed it flawlessly. He did not want to kill Meng Xuan Li so easily. Just like how he was alone, he wanted to stay alive for a long time and live in pain the entire time.

After killing the baby, he had gone into hiding in the forest and deleted all his information so that no one would be able to find him. After Yang Ling Ling had married Li Shu Chen, Zheng Nan was no longer interesting in dating or getting married so he spent all his time in the forest away from other people. His men had been keeping tab on Meng Xuan Li and nothing new was heard so he did not check up on Meng Xuan Li. When he heard she was pregnant the second time, again he planned and attacked her killing her baby. After that, he was staying in the forest and one day Zheng Nan had heard that Yang Ling Ling was admitted in hospital. He had gone to the hospital to see her child and that is when he saw with Meng Xuan Li two babies in her hand. Without any second thought, he shot the babies and fled the place.

Zheng Nan had come to know that one of Meng Xuan Li's babies had survived and he was waiting for the moment to kill the girl. He had made all arrangements and before he could take any action, he found that the baby had died. Zheng Nan had gone underground after that and no one except his small crew knew about his whereabouts. That is why Wang Yu could not find anything about Zheng Nan.

When Zheng Nan heard that Li Zi Yun was actually the daughter of Meng Xuan Li all his previous affection for her turned into pure rage. He could not accept that Yang Ling Ling had been fooled all the years by the Zhao family and now he wanted to take revenge for her. Zheng Nan knew that the security must be tight in the place, but he did not care about anything. All he wanted was to see blood. He did not mind dying, as long as he killed Li Zi Yun, he could die happily.

Zhao Zi Yun called out, "Uncle Zheng Nan?"

Zhao Zi Yun's father asked her, "You know him?"

"Yes he was my mother's friend."

Hearing that Zheng Nan yelled at her, "Don't you dare call Ling Ling as mother. You… (he pointed his finger at Meng Xuan Li) you killed her child and let your child live happily for all these years!!! I'm going to kill your entire family."

Wang Yu was ready to tell everything to Zhao Zi Yun the next day but he could not wait until that. Therefore, slowly he got out of bed to check up one more time before he takes Zhao Zi Yun with him. When Wang Yu got down from bed, Zhao Zi Yun woke up with a start and that is when she saw Wang Yu slowly walking out of the room without making any noise.

Initially she wanted to turn over and sleep but she was curious. Why did he have to leave the room at the middle of the night for no reason?

Though Zhao Zi Yun was tired, she could no longer sleep. She quietly got out of bed and followed Wang Yu. She saw that he was walking towards another part of their house. Their home was so big that Zhao Zi Yun had no time to even to look into all the rooms. It had been quite some time since she had come to this part of the house and Zhao Zi Yun kept following Wang Yu silently. She saw that he went straight into a room and closed the door without looking back.

Zhao Zi Yun was thinking of all worse scenarios as she walked towards that door and she could feel her heart beating fast against her chest.

Zhao Zi Yun pushed the door wide open and saw Wang Yu standing alone in the middle of the room.

Wang Yu was surprised, "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?"

Only then, Zhao Zi Yun noticed that the room she was standing in was a colorful nursery for kids.

Zhao Zi Yun started speaking, "Why???..."

Wang Yu knew that waiting until tomorrow would no longer work. So he said, "Come with me. I have to take you somewhere"

In the middle of the night, they left the house with Wang Yu driving the car. Not a word was spoken between them during the entire ride and at last Wang Yu stopped the car in front of a hospital. Zhao Zi Yun was too scared to get down from the car that she did not even remove the seat belt and sat there silently staring at the hospital in front of her. Wang Yu opened the door and helped her get down and not a word was spoken between them. After a couple of minutes, Wang Yu stopped before a door. A nurse came running towards them and gave them isolation gown, gloves, mask, shoe cover and instructed to use hand sanitizer before entering the room.

Zhao Zi Yun's heart was beating so fast that the heart rate monitor in her watch was beeping loudly that her heart rate was increasing rapidly.

Wang Yu said with a smile, "Everything will be better now." And took her hand and entered the room.

Zhao Zi Yun stepped into the room and that is when she saw. There they were two babies, a boy and a girl lying separately within an incubator with machines attached to their body but still they were sleeping peacefully. Tears welled up in Zhao Zi Yun's eyes and one look at Wang Yu and she knew that it was her child.

Tears kept pouring down in Zhao Zi Yun's eyes as she kept staring at the sleeping babies and she found it hard to form words, "How… they…"

Wang Yu started explaining to her, "I did not mean to hide it from you… but… when they were born both the babies were in critical condition and I did not know if they would survive. I did not want to keep you in dark and wanted to tell you everything but they had surgery after surgery and their survival rate was low. I did not want you to…"

Before Wang Yu could complete the sentence, Zhao Zi Yun hugged him, "thank you. Thank you for keeping them alive. Thank you"

When the nurse entered the room, Zhao Zi Yun looked at the babies and asked, "can i???"

After a long time suddenly Zhao Zi Yun remembered that she was still at the hospital and her husband was standing behind her.

Zhao Zi Yun was whispering to the nurse standing near them. She was scared that babies might wake up if she talks normally and spoke silently, "I want to speak with the doctor. How is their condition now? When will they discharge them? I want to take them home as soon as possible"

Hearing that Wang Yu had come to the hospital, the hospital director along with the doctors had come to meet him and they reached at the exact moment Zhao Zi Yun was talking to the nurse.

The doctors patiently explained to Zhao Zi Yun for more than an hour regarding their health condition and what she should do in the future. The doctors assured her that they were on their path to recovery and will soon be able to go home.

Zhao Zi Yun could not leave the babies alone for a moment. She spent the entire time with them. In addition, even at night she was not ready to leave them alone there. The family was reunited at last and Zhao Zi Yun did not have the heart to let them stay alone in the hospital.

But Wang Yu was wide awake and was not ready to let her sleep so early, "Babe"

"Did you forget about me?"

He wrapped his hand around her waist and planted kisses along her neck.

Zhao Zi Yun turned towards Wang Yu. As soon as she turned, his lips caught hers and they did not part until both were breathless.

Wang Yu pouted, "Isn't it time to take care of me now?"

Zhao Zi Yun was laughing as Wang Yu got on top of her. They had not been intimate for a long time and Wang Yu had missed Zhao Zi Yun like crazy for the past few days.

Wang Yu asked innocently, "I think it's time we start planning for the next baby. Our daughter was sad that she did not have a younger sibling."
