Every great story starts with a night that changes everything, a night that causes realisations and a night that widens the mind to new possibilities.

"Karla!"

A voice screeched out at the dead of night, arousing the creatures of the night from their deep slumbers.

The voice was drowned out by the sound of the thundering downpour rain and the sound of earthshaking thunder.

A group of men and two women formed a search party, desperately trying to locate the young girl of only sixteen.

Karla Andersen.

In a distance not so far away in the thick forest, a hint of blonde hair was seen wriggling around under the rain, cursing under her breath at the twigs and snarly branches that caught ahold of her feet.

"Help me!...someone help me!" The young girl screamed out loud, fighting against the thorns that pierced her feet, digging deep into her flesh, as the hard rain simultaneously washed away her blood.

Her cry was met by the sound of a beast, a gruesome sight before her. It's growl echoed through the forest, striking fear in her heart and making her shudder despite the cold. Karla struggled even faster, wanting desperately to escape the creature that no doubt, wished to hurt her.

She wriggled one of her feet free, and sat up to untangle the other from the bush, both hands shaking from the fear of getting killed in the vast forest at the dead of night by a deadly beast.

A roar sounded from behind her, making bats and birds fly around in fright. The blonde girl looked behind her, to see what looked like a man, howling into the thick, eerie night.

As the rain hit hard on his bare skin, Karla was awestruck at the sight of the man in front of her. He had eyes as red as wine, and teeth that looked sharp enough to pierce through her bone.

Karla held her breath in horror, the rain clouding her vision of the man-like beast in front of her. The man- like beast drew closer to the blonde girl. When he was mere inches away from her, she stood stiff in horror as he seemed to sniff her, his hot breath fanning against her skin.

Turning around shakingly, the frightened girl stared into the piercing gaze of the beast-like man. She wanted to shout and scream at him, but her words were stuck in her throat. Suddenly he growled at her, a soft low growl, sounding more like a moan escaped his mouth, as drool dripped down simultaneously.

The twigs and bushes were off her foot. The man beast had snapped them off with his razor sharp claws.

The blonde girl jumped in fright, losing momentum in both her numb feet as the man beast got on all fours, growling and groaning aloud.

Before the girl could comprehend what was going on around her, the beast's skin had started to rip off his body, a painful tearing sound accompanying the ghastly sight.

"Karla!"

The loud voice rang again. The blonde girl jerking back to reality responded immediately and ran towards the source of the voice, her legs moving with the speed of light.

The trees and plants fought back as she pushed forward in frantic fright, ignoring the sounds and sights in that forest, as she tried to get as far away as possible from the beastlike man at the heart of the forest, with the red glowing eyes.

She pushed herself farther and farther till she collapsed, out of breath and out of strength, close to the moving light and indistinct voices.

The lifeless moon stared down at the people of the city, as some walked alone while others in pairs or cliques, chattering and disappearing into the night.

Different billboards advertised the trending silverware company, which was run by one of the biggest businessmen in the country. The sounds and sights of the beautiful city was just enough to keep one fixated at it's magnificence.

Libertร  was truly a paradise for everyone looking for freedom, but wherever there was light, there was darkness to follow as it's shadow.

The sign lit up, calling to the constant patronizers who wandered the streets. The streets emptied quickly, as all the attention was on the strip club that had just opened up for business.

A crowd of people swarmed the place like flies, waiting for the show to start. Girls in heels and lingerie stood beside poles, giving the men a good show to entertain themselves.

Meanwhile in the upper room, only the elite men sat down legs apart waiting for their special hooker to entertain them for the night.

"Candy Angel's very own special treat for you three, K." A woman with a tattoo on her neck announced, holding a whip in her right hand with a wide grin on her face.

The men wore satisfactory grins on their faces, they had heard almost everything there was about K, and now they had front row seats to view her first-hand.

A sultry woman walked inside, with red hair that flowed down to her lower back, strutting as if she owned the place. A dainty, highly stylized peacock mask covered her upper face and the lowcut A-line dress she wore -which had a side thigh slit, hugged her frame generously.

She walked sensually towards the three men in front of her, casually holding the whip in her hand like it were a play thing. The men were intrigued by how simple minded she was, and were excited for the show she would put on.

A sensual song played in the background, setting the mood of the place, arousing the men. One took a cigar from a tray and lit it up, the thick smoke quickly diffused in the air, adding a sort of high to the mix.

The girl smiled mischievously at the three of them, and widened her legs into a full split.

*๐‘น๐’Š๐’‘!*

The back of her outfit ripped as her eyes widened in shock at the sharp sound.

'Shit!' she thought to herself as one of the men raised a brow at her. The red haired quickly tried to straighten herself up, but in the process, one of her heels broke.

"Fuck Shit! Fuck shit!"

She chanted repeatedly as she tumbled backwards, the thick cloud of smoke distorting her vision of her clients.

She stumbled back, her slight tear stretching out farther and farther, till she crashed into the lava lamp, dashing it to pieces. One of the men stood up from where he sat and grabbed her by the wrist. Her mask fell from her face. The man stared at her as she stared back at him.

"Is this really the legendary K!? This piece of trash who can't handle a simple stunt?" The man asked with a hint of irritation in his deep, baritone.

The woman pushed him away, catching her breath as she turned away to leave the room, Her red boyshorts sticking out like a sore thumb.

She clumsily rushed out of the room, not realising one of her heels was gone. She stumbled forward and then crashed into the matron of the strip club; the woman with the tattoo, and a younger and much sexier woman in the same peacock mask.

The clumsy woman stood nervously in front of them both, scratching the back of her head in fright.

"Why the hell did you go up there? Who let you up there?!" The matron asked heatedly. She had a brown fur coat wrapped around her, and a cigar adorned her left hand.

"Someone came up to me, asking who I was..and..I..am sorry. My name is Karla, with a K. And..." Karla stopped herself, tears flowing freely from both her eyes.

"I didn't know that someone else here went by the name K. I've been here for just a week, if I had..."

Karla's crying intensified, she sniffled, wiping the snot running from her nose with the back of her palm.

"Just stop the crying. It's irritating." The matron snapped, tossing her cigar on an ash tray.

"I'm so sorry, please don't fire me, I need the job." Karla begged, almost getting on her knees, her tears smudging the cheap makeup she had on.

The woman looked at her from head to toe, assessing her body, grading her curves.

'She is sexy, and will draw in a lot of money.' The matron thought, breaking into a smile, thankful that the clients were kind enough not to pull out their elite membership.

"Your mistake is inexcusable, and for that, I get a forty percentage of all your earnings." The matron announced.

"Yes! I'm okay with that! Thank you!." Karla said, wiping her tears from both eyes.

"Now get lost. I don't want you pestering any more of my clients." The woman barked out, pointing her hand upstairs.

Karla quietly let herself out of the room, as she rested her hand on her heart, wishing it to still so that she could catch her breath.
