9 Team X vs Team Z

Kick Off!!

Isagi resumed the match as he passed the ball to Bachira. But the pass was quickly interrupted by Igarashi (the monk), who intercepted the pass and began sprinting forward.

"Man, you suck! I will take this one!" Daido said as he made a clean slide tackle on Igarashi.

"Hey, we've got Murano here! All we've got to do is pass it on to him and act as a support."

Daido ignored the comment and began sprinting forward. He had his eyes set on the goal, and nothing was going to stop him.

"Don't you get it?! Just look at Team Z's meltdown! We'll be fine if we play as a team instead of going out on our own...!"

"Right!" Daido said as he nodded in agreement and took a deep breath before continuing his run.

Daido then crossed the ball to me.

The remainder of Team Z immediately encircled me. There was nowhere for me to squeeze through, so I gave up. I lobbed the ball to Barou since I could see that he was open and in his scoring domain. After all, I needed an assist to complete my match-day challenges. And Barou was a surefire way to do so, as I knew that he wouldn't pass to anyone else.

He shot the ball as he held onto it.

Pa!!

The ball flew through the air and landed perfectly in the net.

I watched as he effortlessly scored the goal, securing my assist and fulfilling my challenges for the day.

Team X 2 - 0 Team Z

"Nice goal, Baroul!" Otsuka yelled as the rest of Team X jumped in excitement.

"As long as we have Barou and Murano, I don't think we ever stand a chance of losing."

'Yeah, let's give the ball to those two."

"It's like they have magnets in their feet or something." They laughed and nodded in agreement.

"We're not here to make friends. You're only here to make me shine," Barou said as we surrounded him.

"Yeah! King Barou!" Murano teased in his comment.

My decision to pass the ball to Barou inspired the players from Team X, who quickly followed suit and organized their defensive and midfield lines. They knew that playing together as a team would give them a better chance of winning the game.

Team Z was a total mess on the field, and was unable to keep up with the coordinated efforts of Team X. Their lack of teamwork and communication ultimately led to their defeat.

___________

Banku released the ball from Team Z with a flash of individual skill and then executed a tease through-pass from midfield to the left flank during a counterattack.

Following that, Murano sprinted through the defenders and grabbed hold of the inch-perfect pass from behind them.

Murano continued and shot the ball past Team Z's inept goalie, increasing their advantage to 3:0.

Murano made it 4:0 for Team X in the 20th minute by using flicks and tricks to dribble past four defenders, enter the box, and then shoot with his right foot, sending the ball into the upper right corner of the goal box. The opposing team seemed to lose hope after Team X increased their advantage to 4:0.

Team X maintained their supremacy in all facets of gameplay as the game went on. They were rampaging all over the field. Murano cut through the defense three more times, then sent a chip shot into the net as the goalie moved forward from the post. The inexperienced goalkeeper became more helpless.

Team X 5 - 0 Team Z

Shoei Barou brilliantly timed his run to meet with a corner kick from Murano in the 41st minute. He subsequently made it 6:0 with a close-range header that was placed just outside the right

post.

________________

I remembered that Team X had been prevailing in the manga from the start, and Team Z appeared to have little hope of a comeback. Bachira and Isagi created a scoring opportunity with only three minutes remaining, and Kunigami capitalized to make the score 5:1.

Even so, it was too little, too late, and Team X was declared the winner when the game's final buzzer sounded. In the manga, Team Z suffered a terrible defeat, but they were motivated by Kunigami's goal and worked harder.

I wasn't going to let them score.

As he handed the ball to Bachira, Isagi resumed the game. Together, they charged toward the opponent's goal, determined to score. Bachira dribbled past Daido, Meiji, and Otsuka and then passed the ball to Isagi's foot, who was charging to the opposition's box.

It was now a 1 v 1 situation with only the goalkeeper left to beat.

Barou then tracks back to the defensive line to stop Isagi from scoring.

"Number 11, you dare stand before me?"

"Only I am the one true king. Bow down, you peasant."

With no opportunity to score, Isagi hit a no-look-through pass toward Kunigami.

Kunigami then ran towards the ball in hopes of getting to it before Daido, who was running behind him.

"LEAVE THE BALL!!!" I intently said it with a sinister tone that evoked fear.

Kunigami felt a surge of fear and hesitation as he let the ball pass by him. The ball then strayed outside of the field, resulting in a throw-in for Team X.

I noticed that my comprehension evaluation has gone up in rank from C > B

After completing several temporary quests at Blue Lock, I was able to gain 500 system points.

I choose to unlock the FUT SHOP despite being tempted to check the "system transactions" tab on my screen.

'Ding'

"250 system points have been deducted."

"A new system feature has been unlocked."

The screen disappeared for a second, and a new window popped up.

It displayed a list of available items that I could purchase with my system cash. Some of the items included were elixirs and upgrades for my current skills. These were quite pricey per item.

But I was certain that if I persisted in playing consistently and earning system cash, I would finally be able to buy all of them. Even though I didn't require anything right away, I made a mental note to return before the system's weekly shuffle.

Who knows what new things could be available then? Maybe I'll even save up enough cash to buy something really valuable.

The random skill looked very tempting, but before spending any money, I wanted to check the system transactions.

The Grade F and E skill upgrades were pretty useless because I don't really have any skills of Grade F or E.

I knew then that if I wanted to get my hands on the best items, I would need to upgrade my system to get higher-grade items from the shop.

Therefore, I decided to hold off on buying anything until I had accumulated more system cash.

On the bright side, the FUT SHOP was now available for me to browse and purchase upgrades.

In a flash, I changed the tab and selected System Transactions.
