It wasn't long after this that the team found the captain ready to bring them out to the sea. After this, the preparations were quick.

Everyone, from the sailors to Cael's team members, clearly were impatient to get rid of the sea monster and return to their normal lives.

It made Cael wonder why the Castelrosso Trinity themselves did nothing against it. He suspected the answer was political. It once again strengthened his opinion that a single city should have a single ruler.

Regardless, this all gave Cael an opportunity. Thanks to it, the very next morning after meeting Niko, Myrna and Tarek for the first time, he prepared to step on a sea ship together with them.

The ship that, Cael thought, wasn't worth two hundred gold at all.
