6 Chapter 6

Let's remember where we stayed in the previous part, Doom was standing in the middle of the street believing himself a god. Well, are they up to date? Let's continue.

"Dooooooom!"

A pole crashed into Doom, causing it to crash into the ground.

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

Using the same pole, Thing kept hitting him over and over against Doom like this was a stick.

But the weird thing was, Doom wasn't trying to get up.

Alex turned his gaze to the invisible woman and saw that she was using her powers to imprison Doom in the same place.

"This won't last long ..." Alex noticed that the invisible woman was continually bleeding from her nose.

A strong ball of fire approached Doom and launched a great torrent of fire at him, all with the aim of burning him to death if possible. The human torch was recovered, and at this moment he was trying his best to defeat Doom.

Seeing this scene, a look that reflected an internal struggle appeared on Alex.

"Should I help them?"

"They're supposed to have easily killed Doom, why are they losing so miserably now?" Alex had an internal debate, which had him in a state of confusion, he remembered that the fantastic 4 in the movie kicked Doom's ass in less than 5 minutes, but now ... for some reason ... even Reed Richards had been killed by Doom ...

Alex began to use the maximum capacity of his brain to find out the reason for everything that is currently happening. His eyes widened when he recognized the cause of all this.

"Is all this ... is it because I'm here?" Disbelief appeared in Alex's eyes, as he did not think that his stay in this world would change him in such a drastic way.

Suddenly a rumble took Alex out of his internal debate, he turned his gaze from him to the battle, but he didn't like what he saw at all.

Doom was now free from the control of the invisible woman, and had sent the Thing flying by removing the pole from him, and Doom used that same pole to deliver a devastating blow to the human torch crashing it against the wall of a building and due to the force it went right through the wall.

Doom turned his gaze from him to the invisible woman who was kneeling on the ground a few feet from him. Blood flowed freely from her nose, and at a glance she could tell that she must have a horrible headache.

Little by little, Doom began to go towards her without any sign of having good intentions; Susan put a look of fear and despair when she noticed with his blurred vision of her how Doom approached her slowly. A chill ran up her spine as Doom's metallic face seemed to have a maniacal grin.

All the gossipy people who had not yet left the scene had fear in their eyes, fear that their heroes would be defeated, fear that Doom would direct his murderous and maddened gaze at them, fear that there was no hope left at this moment.

"Come on, move! You have power to spare! Smashing Doom should be so easy for me! So… why don't I move?… "Despair was the only thing in Alex's gaze, all because his instincts still told him that it would be a big shit to have to deal with the consequences of the actions if I came to the rescue of the fantastic 4 ... well now they are 3 fantastic ...

Suddenly a memory came to Alex's mind, from 5 years ago when he and Peter were playing Super Heroes.

"My powers are laser vision and being able to fly!" Exclaimed a little Peter Parker while he and his cousin Alex were playing in the backyard of his house, while they were watched by May and Ben Parker.

"I have super strength, super speed, X-rays, heat vision, freezing breath, super breath, super hearing and I can also fly!" An Alex a little bigger than Peter exclaimed as he sported a heroic pose, much like that of superman.

Peter's jaw dropped, since he didn't know that there were so many powers. Even May and Ben were stunned for a moment by the ridiculous amount of powers their son had chosen.

"Wow son, with so many powers in you, you must be willing to have a great responsibility" Ben said while letting out a small laugh, seeing the confused look that his son gave him.

Alex was already adjusting to this new world a lot back then, so his memories of him from his previous life were a bit blurry now.

"What do you mean dad? ... the more powers I have the better right?" Alex tilted his head in confusion, as in the future, he would have all these powers as long as he stayed in the sun.

"Let me give you some advice son ... A hero is not great by all the powers he has, a hero is great because even if he only has one power, he will use it to the fullest in order to help a person in danger" Ben said as if it were a kind of wise man, leading a young man on the right path.

"That means… With great power, comes great responsibility?" Alex asked as this brought back memories of his previous life.

"That's right son, I'm glad you understand"

With those last words from Ben, the memory came to an end in Alex's mind, but now there is a big difference in his gaze, Alex's gaze was full of determination.

"I will deal with the problems later, I must not let them die this way" Alex muttered to himself; while everyone around him seemed to stop, but time had not stopped, only because of Alex's speed everything seemed go really slow right now.

"First I need a mask for my face" Alex thought as he looked around him, searching for something that could be used to cover his face temporarily.

But he began to despair a bit, since nothing appeared in his sight, until he fixed his gaze on the special pizza bag that he carried on top of him, a somewhat strange idea crossed his mind.

"You do what you can with what he has," Alex said in his heart, already fully determined.

-Susan Storm POV-

"How did it end like this? ...."

"We were all supposed to find a way to cure our mutations ... but now ... none of that matters anymore" I told myself, as I looked at the figure of the person I once "loved" Victor Von Doom, but now it's not more than a mere shadow of yesterday.

Victor approached me little by little, I did not need to be a fortune teller to know what he was planning to do with that pole that he carries in his metal hand ... My head does not stop hurting from having used my powers to the fullest, my nose does not stop bleed from the pressure I put my brain to. A chill ran through my entire body, I'm not ready to die, if I die I won't be able to bury Reed ... if I die I won't be able to spend time with my brother and Ben again.

Despair was beginning to consume me, my body yells at me to stop, that it can't take it anymore, but I don't want to give up, I won't give up ... never with someone like him.

Despite the excessive exhaustion my body was going through, I stood up. My legs won't stop shaking.

"So ... Are you still trying to fight? ... How beautiful and pathetic" Victor's metallic voice reached my ears, a great anger sprang up inside me ... I will not forgive him for what he has done, I must avenge myself best friend…

"Say hello to Reed for me, you'll see him very soon" A chilling laugh came from Victor, I can't help but close my eyes right now as my powers are not responding ... I can feel that the pole is close to crushing my head, And without my powers to stop it I'm beyond dead

I kept waiting for pain ... Have I died yet? ... I wait ... I wait and wait, but I don't feel different yet.

"I'm sorry I didn't help before" A voice that I didn't recognize, coming from a place in front of my speech, I opened my eyes to see who it was ... but I didn't expect to see a boy taller than me, with a pizza bag on the head with holes used for eyes and mouth ... But to my greatest amazement ... is that he was stopping Doom's attack like nothing with one hand.
