"I get it. So Gen now tell me about Rank and how will I level up"?
[Master, Ranks are the power realms in which people are divided from weak to strong in this world. Most common Ranks for all classes or professions start from Rank 1 to Rank 9 and above Rank 9 there are different power Realms and the beings in that power Realms are the true powerhouses of the world of Genesis. Master is suitable to Learn Mage and Swordmaster Class.]
"Oo, can you give me an example of all power ranks or realms of a Mage class and Swordmaster class".said Reaper with a curious look.
[Yes master, like all other classes Mage and Swordmaster classes start from Rank 1 to Rank 9. After Rank 9, a mage became Supreme Magus. After becoming Supreme Magus they are further divided into 4 tiers starting from the early-tier Supreme Magus, then Mid-tier Supreme Magus, then High-tier Supreme Magus, and then Peak tier Supreme Magus.]
[Same as Mages, Swordmaster's after Rank 9 are divided into 4 tiers. After rank 9 Swordmasters become Supreme Swordmasters. They are Early-tier Supreme Swordmaster, Mid-Tier Supreme Swordmaster, and High-tier Supreme Swordmaster and Peak-tier Supreme swordmaster.]
[Above Supreme Magus and Supreme Swordmaster there is Realm which is called Demi-God which means Half-Mortal and Half-God. This is the final Rank that a being can achieve while living in the world Of Genesis. Even though this realm name had the word god in it, it actually does not have too much connection with Gods, it is just a way to describe that a being is on his way to stepping on a higher Realm above mortals and half-step free from his Mortal shackles.]
"Ok, I understand and now tell me Gen, how can I level up"?
[Master, before you focus on your level-up, you must understand the basic Rank system in this world.]
"Ok, tell me about it".
[Master there is special energy present in this world to which you can call spiritual energy. People of different professions use this energy in different ways. Mages call this energy Mana and Swordmaster's call this energy Aura or Soul energy]
[Mages use this energy and create Mana's heart. On this Mana's heart, they create Mana circles. Their heart is connected to their soul through the usage of their Mana Heart. Each circle represents a Rank. 1 mana circle represents 1st rank mage, like this 2 mana circles represent 2nd rank mage, and like this list goes on and 9 mana circles represent 9th Rank mage. Each circle is like a conductor which absorbs mana from the surrounding and gives the mage power to replenish it's used and lost energy. Mana Circle also acts like a small storage box in which mana can be stored. Each time a mana circle is created it connects with the previous circle and it creates a synergy which makes mana storage in mana circles multiplied by many folds. This is also the reason why not Rank 1 mage can't perform the magic spells of a Rank 2 mage because of a lack of Mana energy in Mana storage. Well, there are always exceptions where some blessed mages at Rank 1 even have more Mana than Rank 2 mages. There is also a great difference in the mana storage on the same rank between different species. More powerful species have great amounts of Mana on the same rank. For example, Dragons have many amounts of more Mana than humans on the Same Rank]
[So like Mages, Swordmasters and body cultivators also use this spiritual energy and they call it Aura or Soul energy. The Swordmasters are also called Aura Masters or Aura Knights. Like how Mages created Mana Heart, They also creates Aura Hearts. Mages create a Mana circle inside of the heart and Swordmaster's cover the outer layer or surface of the Heart with Aura layers. They create Aura layers around their hearts which is connected to their soul. They use Aura to create a layer of Aura energy on their heart, which also covers their body. Aura or Soul energy is stored in these layers. They are even more connected to their souls than Mages. Aura is just a manifestation of their soul in the outside world. They can easily intimidate those weaker than them with Aura Pressure or Bloodlust. Each layer represents Each Rank. Like Mana circles these Aura layers are also connected with each other. 1 Aura Layer means 1st Rank and 9 Aura layers means 9th Rank. They can manifest their Aura in battles and create different types of projectiles. They can cover their body with Aura to fight their enemies or they can use weapons to enhance the power of their Aura.]
[Both Mages and swordmasters use spiritual energy in their surroundings to create Mana Circles and Aura Layers. They also use Beast cores of different Beasts to absorb energy from it and to create Mana circles or Aura Layers. But Absorbing energy from beast cores is not an easy task because, even after the death of a Beast, some parts of its consciousness still remain in cores, so during absorption if the one who is absorbing its core is a weak person or has weak mental fortitude then, its consciousness can even kill that person. Even if the person Absorbing the core is powerful, even then there are many impurities in those cores that can be harmful to their body's foundation. So they use various methods to purify these cores but its purification degrades these cores remaining energy and after purification, not even 10% of energy is left to be absorbed from these cores.]
[But, Master doesn't have to worry about it. I can help you absorb these Cores with all its 100% energy without any side effects.]
Reaper's eyes lit up. "It means I can Level up or increase my Rank many times faster than normal beings. Lol, I just remember's a Chinese slang, It will be as easy as drinking water and eating food. hahaha".
[Master, well I think it's too soon to be happy. There is a problem regarding your Rank up.]
Reaper's face twitched. Did I just jinx myself by celebrating early? "What is the problem now Gen"? Said Reaper in a worried tone.
[Master as you know your soul is 10 times more powerful than normal beings because of Lord Shiva's blessings, so you also need 10 times more amount to Rank up than Normal beings. This means if others need a Rank 1 core to become a Rank 1 mage then you need 10 Rank 1 beast cores to Become a Rank 1 mage]
".Oo, it is a problem then but I think its merits overshadowed its demerit. This means to become Rank 1 I need 10 Rank 1 cores, then to become Rank 2 I will need 10 Rank 2 cores".
[Well, Master there is another problem here.] Said the system in a solemn tone.
"What is it now? Will you stop telling me about problems and tell me about some good news". Said Reaper in an annoyed tone.
[Well, Master Each Rank is many times more powerful than the previous rank. It also becomes more difficult to Rank up with after every Rank. So the number of cores you need to Rank up also increases with each Rank. This means if to become a Rank One, You need 10 Rank 1 cores. Then to become a Rank 2 you need 20 rank 2 cores. So like this to become Rank 9 you need 90 rank 9 cores.]
Reaper's face twitched, " Is it not too much? As I also understand with Each rank Number of powerful beings starts decreasing. I also need these beasts alive to create Blood Clones. Didn't you worry, that I will not be able to find enough beast cores to level up?
[Master, you don't have to worry. As you know this world is 10 times bigger than Earth, so the population here is also 100 times more than Earth. There are trillions of powerful beings living in this world so you don't have to worry about increasing your Ranks. Besides the beast core, you can also absorb energy from Mana's heart or Aura's heart of other beings.]
[Master, should see the good sides of this blessing. When you become a Rank 1 mage you will be 10 times more powerful than any normal human mage. Your powerful soul not only increases your physical powers. It also increases your intelligence and understanding of things. You will be able to think 10 times faster than normal humans and your learning ability is also 10 times faster than any normal humans. Mana Storage Or Aura storage will also be 10 times more than normal Human Mages and Swordmasters.]
Reaper's eyes lit up, "We'll that is great. Even in my previous life, I was considered a Genius. I can easily learn any technique and also created many new techniques. I also had a photographic memory. I still now feel I have that ability of photographic memory. Well coupled with my Genius mind and these new enhancements I will be unparalleled in learning". Cough Cough, Well, I think I should not become too happy or I will jinx myself again thought Reaper, and stopped celebrating.
[Master To make things easy, I have created this level system. When you absorb a Rank 1 core you will become level 1 which is equal to a Rank 1 mage and when you absorb 10 Rank 1 cores you will become level 10 and you will advance to become a Rank 1 Mage or Swordmsster. You will be 10 times more powerful than normal mages or swordmasters. To reach Rank 9 you need to become level 90.]
Ok, Gen, and what about above Rank 9? How will I advance further?
[Master, when you become Rank 9 I will tell you how to advance further. For now, you have to focus on becoming a Rank 9.]
"Hey, Gen will I be able to become both Mage and Aura Swordsman?"
[Yes, master you can follow both Paths. You are blessed with both Mana and Aura but resources will also be doubled. Earlier If you want to become a Rank 1 mage then you need to have 10 Rank 1 cores and Now if you want to become Rank 1 both Mage and Swordmaster then you need at least 20 cores. I can merge these talents into leveling up so you can simultaneously increase the rank of Both Talents. So now to become level 1 you need 2 beast cores. To become level 10 and reach Rank 1 you now need 20 beast cores.]
Reaper takes a deep breath. " So cost increase again. Well then, that means I will be 20 times more powerful than normal mages or swordmasters".
[ Well, I am not sure about it Master, but using both Magic and Aura will definitely will give you a huge power boost, you will be more than 10 times more powerful than Normal Mages and Swordmasters.]
"It is good then, we'll leave that topic for now. I think I should use Omni Eyes to see the status window of other people around me. Well, for now only, my mother is present in the room so, first I see my mother's status panel."
