The Staring Game

The memory is still vivid, the joy is still felt, and the smiles still remain on my cheeks. My first wedding was just memorable. But after we had gotten married, I then realized something important.

Our witnesses had signed their signatures and we were man and wife. However, I gasped as I recalled one thing.

"What's wrong?" Jin Ho asked due to my sudden expression.

I then said: "I haven't informed mom and dad about our wedding."

"Me neither", he mentioned.

The priest and our witnesses looked at each other and burst out in laughter.

The male witness said: "I guess you were in such a hurry that you forgot about the world behind you."

I looked worried but Jin Ho was okay. He smiled at me and said: "It's okay, they already know."

"What?" I was surprised but then he took his phone and turned off the silence mode. He then said to those on the line: "Mother, Father, she's now feeling guilty."

And suddenly, I heard my parents laughing over the phone.
