The Belongings

After going through a hectic day, I awakened to another one with different daunting tasks. And yet, these tasks followed a similar pattern to that of the previous day. It began with me getting up early before everyone and dressing up to go out. By the time I was ready to get on the move, everyone was now jumping out of bed.

Mom came out of her room whilst stretching her arms. When she saw me already dressed, she asked: "Amy, where are you going?"

"I'm heading out to see someone", I replied and she asked: "Today too?"

"Yes", I confirmed.

Right then, dad also came out. Since he had heard part of the conversation, he went ahead to ask: "Who are you seeing?"

"Virel. He's Jin Ho's friend", I replied.

Mom tried to repeat the name by saying, "Vi…" but since the other part of the name couldn't be mentioned, she just ended it by saying: "That name sounds familiar."

And dad tried to mention the name, only to end up saying: "Ah, that Vinegar guy."
