Poppy Feels Guilty

Sometimes though we are not completely at fault for someone's actions, we do feel that our action led to that person's reaction and this makes us feel unnecessarily guilty. I'm not the one saying these words, rather my little sister Poppy was writing this in her journal. Whenever she was emotionally unstable, Poppy usually jotted down stuff like these. And yet, she was the lowest performing student in school.

The words that she had poured out on the paper showed how much she regretted her action in the cafeteria today. True that the truth was bound to come out, but was it supposed to come out in this manner?

Mom realized that something was on her daughter's mind. Aside from coming home extremely early, she had not been herself either. So mom went to her and asked her: "Sweetie, how was your day at school?"
