Poppy's Awesome Morning

The morning came by early and no one at home was ready for it. Poppy was the first to wake up. She stretched out and saw that Jeremy was not sleeping next to dad. She tried to free herself as well but was struggling to untie the knot. Just then, Jeremy entered and she realized that it really happened. She slept on the same bed under the same roof with Jeremy. If this was heard at school, then it would be the most discussed topic.

"Do you need some help?" Jeremy asked and approached her. She sat still as he untied the knot. But as he was untying it, a hand suddenly grabbed him and that voice said: "Who gave you the right to touch my daughter?"

Jeremy swallowed a big chunk of his spit in fear. But right after that question, Dad returned to his snoring ways.

Feeling relieved, Poppy and Jeremy burst out in laughter. But they tried to keep it low. Poppy was soon freed and the two came out of the room.

Once they were out, Jeremy smiled and said: "I really envy you."
