Chapter 13 - Offended the person who should not be offended _1

The brash arrogance on He Songquan's face was plain to see for Shen Lan.

She and Cheng Yanqing were just ordinary citizens, Cheng Yanqing trying to intimidate He Songquan with an assertive demeanor was just wishful thinking!

The officer angrily cut off He Songquan, "That's self-defense. You guys better think about how to secure forgiveness from those two!"

Upon hearing this, everyone in the room was dumbfounded.

Shen Lan and Chen Yan initially thought they were going to fall into He Songquan's trap today. As for He Songquan? He couldn't believe that despite his meticulous planning, things have turned out like this. Where did he miscalculate?

With that, Cheng Yanqing walked up to Shen Lan, putting his arm around her shoulder.

Shen Lan and Chen Yan both stared wide-eyed.

Cheng Yanqing's boyfriend strength was simply off the charts!

But Shen Lan was still in shock, she hooked her arm through Cheng Yanqing's and hurriedly walked away.

Cheng Yanqing is just an ordinary employee and they're just ordinary people, where would they get the money to hire a lawyer?

He Songquan will see right through these empty threats sooner or later.

They'd better get out of sight of He Songquan as soon as possible!

However, after they left, He Songquan was directly informed, "Boss, no matter how much money you put it, it won't help. The surveillance footage is now with the police and they've already fixed it, there's no way I can tamper with it anymore. You should try to plea to other sources."

He Songquan tried to look up some information on Cheng Yanqing, but before he could make the call, his friend called again urging him, "Move fast, while you're still at the police station and the case hasn't been officially filed. But when He Songquan came out of the interrogation room, there was no sign of Shen Lan in the police station.

Meaning: While at the police station, as long as they're tactful and have the police backing them up, they don't have to fear any reprisal from He Songquan!
